If my memory serves me right I think I read it takes 2 generations before they will be true auto seeds...so you have to grow 1 set of seeds out then grow those seeds out and pollinate again...or something like that...lol I haven't done any autos myself, but have done regulars and fems.

Generally reg seeds are best for breeding. Male and female seeds are mixed together...crap shoot. Fem seeds are better for what you are doing...less chance of growing a plant that may be a male in the end...it does happen on occasion still though.

If the wire in the house is proper gauge to handle the lights draw then you can remove the light fixture and install an outlet on the ceiling...plug in light. Then just use a normal plug in timer too.
