However , my drain to waste setups ( Hempy ) I use my tap ( 270 ppm out of tap ) with GH MAXIBLOOM, only adjust mix to 5.7/5.8 ph and they are fine.

Yes ... base line read of your tap ( city ) ppm . If too much to work with , look at RO .
