How do you like to dry your buds...

The hanging of the plant, itself, is irrelevant. It's the cure that determines the quality of the final product. To answer your question, you're not missing anything. Good luck. Simon

    bulk cureing?

FWIW, I cure everything in 2.5gal glass jars. Each holds over a pound. Why? Because, I get paid for the results. A 5gal bucket, obviously, holds twice as much and can also work well when lined with a turkey bag. Other options can work OK short term, but they won't produce a "serious" cure. Gotta...

    A perfect cure every time

One of the growers on IC setup a controlled-humidity chamber for curing. He reported excellent results. Having never done it myself, on a purely intuitive level, there's no reason why such a setup can't work well. Simon

    A perfect cure every time

It sounds like the moisture inside the bud isn't fully distributed, yet. Give it a little more time. Good luck. Simon

    A perfect cure every time

No. If you've let the humidity inside the container stabilize, as instructed in the tutorial, it's as precise as the hydrometer you're using. Simon

How can i grow 10-15lbs of bud

Well, I can pull ~15lbs from 6K in a bit less than 100ft2. One LST'd/pruned plant per every ~1.25ft2. For a new grower, be happy with a pound per 1K to start. It can be a very long road. You're absolutely right in thinking that genetics will make or break the grow. This is how folks like me...

Then you can forget about the cure, which is the opposite intent of this thread. ;) Simon

    Yield Efficiency ?

Heh, I have no chillers, no AC, no CO2 generators, no hydro equipment, no pumps. Just lights and fans. With all that in mind, my yield just went way up! :) Simon

    Best open reflector?

If it were me, I'd use a Super Sun. Why? Relatively even dispersion with a 1K and little loss of light intensity, again, relatively speaking. Good luck. Simon

    Yield Efficiency ?

It's a difficult question to answer simply. Grams per watt assumes that light is the limiting factor. In some gardens it is. In my case, space is the limiting factor - I can run as much light as I like - so I gauge yield as per square foot. Per plant makes little sense, as a plant can yield a...

    A perfect cure every time

If the product is stabilized at 64%, there's no real need to keep burping the jar. The key word here is stabilized. Some folks like to introduce an air exchange into the process every week or two. Long term storage - meaning, more than a few months - 55-60% is good. Glad everything is working...

    Free seed pre harvest pics

I run one plant per (about a) square foot. It usually works out to ~1.25ft2 per plant. Each plant goes up with 5-8 main stems, all pruned for no popcorn. So, in a sense, it's kinda like a SOG without the multitude of plants and with additional reach in the literal sense of the word. I find that...

4 weeks from seed. I'm going to flower the batch in a day or two, so the next set of pics will come in 9-10 weeks. Simon

    Free seed pre harvest pics

Apologies for not updating the thread in a timely manner. The pics were shot this past Tuesday, exactly 3 weeks after sprouting: 2gal pots, Pro-Mix fed with Jack's Classic. I thought I'd show the LST process again, since I was tying the plants down anyway. As you can see, I like to LST at 7-8...

Question for those that have used Jack's Classic 20-20-20

It always amazes me how folks can take something that's ridiculously easy and foolproof and make it needlessly complicated. All to what end? I use Jack's. Max concentration in veg is 1 teaspoon per gallon for feeding with every watering. To answer an older question, I use Pro-Mix (though...

Who has been pulled over while driving high???

Car & Driver did that in the late-70s. They tested weed against alcohol, hit for hit. Unanimously, everyone clocked faster slalom times as they smoked more. This being said, it's not quite as simple nor can the idea be prorated for all drivers, but it is what it is. Can you tell I'm a car guy...
