Berry Ryder - WTF let's SEED ONE again Doh!!

I agree that for personal use, a few pollen sacs here and there isn't such a huge deal, so long as you are vigilant, and don't let them pollinate your entire crop. It's just kind of annoying that AKR genetics have to have that problem, because otherwise, it is a top notch strain that excels in...

Berry Ryder - WTF let's SEED ONE again Doh!!

Thanks man. Glad to help. I'm not sure if you can tell which traits will be dominant/recessive, without crossing and observing the results (the ones that show up in the f1 generation are the dominant ones), but what might help a bit, is to look at most other plants and see which trait is most...

Berry Ryder - WTF let's SEED ONE again Doh!!

No problem, man. Here's a little more basic breeding info to get you on track in the right direction: Given that a dominant gene is "A" and a recessive one is "a", the way it works, is that in the f1 generation, all of the dominant genes from each parent are expressed in the babies, and any...

Berry Ryder - WTF let's SEED ONE again Doh!!

How's it goin'? Glad to hear the Berry Ryder reversal worked well for you. That should be a nice cross (BKR). If you like the cross, you should try to keep it going through the generations, up to f7, so it'll be stabilized as a new strain. The babies should all be pretty uniform in phenotypes...

    need help fast

No. You don't want the light too far from the canopy of your plant, because then it will stretch to reach it, and end up lanky, with a lot of extra airy space between nodes.

Sounds like everything is going well. When do you plan on starting your spraying, and what is the final ppm for your CS? Do you have any more advanced breeding plans, for further generations of anything, or are you just making crosses with whatever you have on hand?

Damn, stuff like that is such a pain in the ass. The good news is that you only need a few pollen sacs to make an insane amount of seeds, so you might still have a shot with it. Im curious about the CS injection. If anything, it might help keep the wound from getting infected.

    Self pollination to preserve genetics?

Check this thread out for info on how to best make your own seeds from a female plant. https://www.rollitup.org/t/a-guide-to-colloidal-silver.865536/

Yea. i would definitely give it a shot before tossing it. If everythign else went well, it should work just fine. I personally refer lower ppm solutions because you can spray the entire plant, and spray more often, without burning the leaves, which gives it more "wet time" on the plant, for it...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Remember to scrub your electrodes (wires) with a scotch-brite pad before every use, even if they have been just sitting around, because they get a layer of oxidation on the surface over time. The one on the right was just cleaned off.

If you don't have an air pump/stone, getting a higher ppm reading can be difficult. That should be fine. Just spray the plant 2-3 times daily.

Good luck! I always like watching any breeding projects, especially ones using CS to make fems. Looking forward to seeing your pics/progress. You should try to get a pic of your cs as well, if it's in a clear jar. Is it the one you posted a picture of in the berry ryder thread?

    need urgent help

If the seeds formed by themselves on female plants that means that either A. the plant hermied and created seeds of itself, or B. he has another male plant or hemie somewhere that pollinated it. The seeds should produce bud that is perfectly fine for consumption, but shouldn't be used in...

Berry Ryder - WTF let's SEED ONE again Doh!!

You actually don't want the wires that close. You want them between 1-4" apart. And the water shouldn't be cloudy when finished, because all of those visible particles are larger, and don't work as well on permeating the plant cells. Finished colloidal silver should look identical to water. The...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

That's interesting. I haven't done too much research on either silver thiosulfate, or Tiresias Mist, but I've heard it (TM) works well for some people. It comes in such a small bottle tho, so you have to really get your timing and application down correctly so you don't run out before it starts...

    A Guide To Colloidal Silver

Good quality pre-made products? I have never used Tiresias Mist, but I've read good things about it. @HighLowGrow has used it a few times, and has had some success, and his plants don't look all burnt and deformed after being sprayed. It would probably work fine, but you may need more than...

Berry Ryder - WTF let's SEED ONE again Doh!!

Looks pretty normal. It might turn yellow, without an air stone, but it should still work for the plants. How long has it been running? Have you cleaned the electrodes yet?
