Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

Great! Yeah I did 3/4" black vinyl and it was my problem last time as well. lol... Not enough circulation and uneven growth, one bucket out of the four containers would always go beat mode. The thing I liked about the 1000gph pump is that it is an adjustable pump. So I could reduce it if...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

I wasn't as much worried about roots going in the 2" bulkhead. I find even one airstone, and the roots will wrap around the stone and stay away from the bulkheads/pipes. But your loop the roots in a circle would work well too! My main concern was, will the water return into the res and level...

    plant keeps snapping small branches

Silica is supposed to increase turgidity, that is strengthen your stems. Try to do training after watering your plants, they may be more bendy. Lethidox is correct, always add Silica FIRST.

    Magic PH rising

Is it tap water by any chance? To my understanding, as the Chlorine evaporates it changes the pH. (That, in addition to the air pumped into the water with air-stones). @coreywebster has it on point! :hump:

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

I was hoping to run two more things by you guys. :) The new system is an 80Gal system. 16gal x4 containers (+1 16gal rez. same container type). Purchasing my bulkheads now, going to go with the Current Culture. 1) I want to go 3" but am wondering if I can use 2" bulkheads for the return? (I...

Cannabis legalization in Canada is truly Reefer Madness 2.0 (long read)

it sounds like they're describing their own product. Unregulated and banned pesticide use. Moldy buds. Irradiated Buds... ...and they're going to knock the Craft Growers?! HAHA..... H.A.!

    Do I need a "Top-Off Rez"?

Oh okay that makes sense. Yeah I'm fine with just plain water top offs. It usually doesn't dilute the water enough to make a huge difference (adding just plain water). I can always add a little nute mix to the rez if I need to bump it up.

    Do I need a "Top-Off Rez"?

Rebuilding my RDWC. I see a lot of prebuilt systems have a separate top-off-reservoir for plain water. Could I just put a float valve and run the line straight into my main rez? Or do I really need a separate rez for plain water? (I don't see the purpose for a separate rez.?) My alternative...

‘Marijuana is the new OxyContin’: Should we be concerned with how docs are learning about pot?

That's because Cannabis doesn't walk into their office with luggage, offering free trips and other slimy incentives to push their specific medication brand on patients.

    rdwc question

He is over-thinking, because he's a freaking walking encyclopedia on this subject and there are just that many factors to consider. You could do a waterfall with just one single bucket. (But then, will the pump heat up your water real fast because it's a small amount of water?) Then maybe go...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

@Skybound420 Your solo cup is all RW? Did you just take cubes and cut them into tiny pieces? Or do they sell mini RW pieces like that?

Second Opinions - Magnesium or Something Else?

Wow, well you learn something new everyday lol. She was completely root-bound. Health white thick roots, but just white roots, on top of white roots thickly condensed! Less than 24 hours later, twisting has stopped, and nute burn like symptoms have seem to stop to! ..interesting! =D

Second Opinions - Magnesium or Something Else?

Ah, okay! Thanks! I appreciate your knowledge! I will try to get them repotted asap and report back! Super Glad it's not Bugs! (EW! lol)

Second Opinions - Magnesium or Something Else?

Here's some more pics. They're sort of the same though. The ones with circles are a 100x handheld scope. The other ones are 60-250X scope. And regular pic of the whole plant. It could be root bound.... I didn't know it could cause that severity of symptoms? There's a little bit of algae on top...

Second Opinions - Magnesium or Something Else?

Here's some Macro's. I did just spray water twice (foilar with epsom salt and light nutrient solution), once before these picture were taken. Those white specks do not look like they move in the microscope. Could definitely use second opinions. Leaf damage has seems to have stopped since...

    Seed Germination Issue

Indoor Growing isn't exactly nature. ;) ... I'm just pulling your tail, you can most definitely start straight in soil. I've always done the paper-towel with 100% germ rates when I do things correctly.

    Seed Germination Issue

Sounds like you have a solid plan. My guess is also that they were too wet. This reduced much needed oxygen, and they don't work as hard to grow (look for water). I would not introduce Myko until your roots have established a little. Don't over complicate things. Paper-Towel, Bottled Water...

    Is this algae?

That's right. You can simply grab a red solo cup and put the clear cup with the plant directly into the red solo cup. No light and algae will stop growing. (Just make sure when you water that you don't have stagnant water pooling in the red solo cup. Water, then dump out of solo cup. Or take it...

    Seed Germination Issue

When you say 10% Germ rate (thats 1 in 10 seeds popping, ouch!) are you referring to seeds not even opening? Or are you referring to seeds that pop and then stall? If they don't open, you can try scuffing them a little, with a container and sand-paper. If they pop and stall it could be bad...
