    Is this algae?

But it actually does. It competes for nutrients and oxygen. If you are growing in those clear cups, that is why you've grown algae. Double cup with a solid cup. Although that amount of algae is probably harmless. You could leave it. When it's time to transplant I would probably just scrap it...

Second Opinions - Magnesium or Something Else?

She's been bugging me for a while. I'm sort of thinking Magnesium but I'm a little iffy... maybe just been looking at her for too long. I thought it might be Ph sensitive so I tried adjustive Ph by 0.1-0.2 points down from 5.9PH. Tried feeding 5.8 for a few feedings, and 5.7 as well. currently...

    On the edge of disaster!

Nice plants. OP didn't mention if he is using some type of super soil or not. If he is not, some type of maintenance program should be in place for nutrients. (ie: as hotrod suggested, the Lucas formula)

    mould or powdery mildew

bugs have cycles so even though you think they're dead, there still may be eggs/larvae. Stick with the treatment for a few days.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm in straight Perlite. Maybe I will start mixing in a little bit of vermiculite then! :)

    World Of Hempy

Oh cool, didn't realize there was a Hempy Thread! Was wondering if you guys had any ideas for 1-3gal sized containers for hempy? (Closer to 1 or 2 gallon) Also, I find every so often, maybe like 1 out of 10 hempy buckets (hempy solo cups) will suffer from "Compaction". Where water won't...

    dwc seedlinds droopy

As long as your water temperature is on point, maybe they just need to be top-fed lightly until they have a strong root structure? Or water level needs to be adjusted in the buckets? I do not see any visible root issues in those pictures. Old Med is on point though, root rot and slime can cause...

    No fans at dark?

Reading the context of that quote, it appears to be that they are discussing the dark period after flowering and before harvesting. They're saying to leave fans off during the 48 hour dark period, and or hanging. I could be reading that wrong, but if that's not what they're saying... it does...

    Favorite PPM/TDS meter?

Yes, you can "temporarily" store them in tap water but it's supposedly not good to do that long term. Use storage solution. You can also store it in a PH 4 or 7 buffer (read your manual it should say, I don't recall which it is.)

    Favorite PPM/TDS meter?

I always go Blue Labs for that type of equipment. I did just pick up a $200 Hanna Combo meter from someone for $40. I need to calibrate it still, but it seems a little more complex than the blue labs ones. (Ie: press this button to switch to this mode, etc. Or maybe I just have to get used to...

    Dying plant help

This Stuff Right? 2-5-10 is Perfectly Fine. Just adjust your PPM before feed. ^BUT...... B.U.T...... that stuff is for Soil/Hydro. I've not used it in Coco, but they have a special Coco nutrient Formula. Coco is known to hold onto and release certain nutrients later. This could be your problem.

    Dying plant help

Imo. I would do 2ml Grow / 5ml Micro / 10ml Bloom And 3-5ml CalMag. PH'd to 6.8 and PPM to 600ish I'm thinking Cal-Mag Deficiency. But also possibly Potassium Deficiency (which would make sense because your Blood feed is a little low imo.).

    Different Benificials Together?

Yeah you're correct! Orca is more of a liquid Mycorrhiaze. It helps root health and nutrient uptake. Hydrogaurd is more of a beneficial bacteria known as Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens. It fights pathogens.

Flawless FINISH - how to properly flush ? Help ! Day 66

I've always had a hard time figuring this out... A local dispensary thats been open for over a quart century said "3 week flush to be considered medicinal". They were growing large scale, synthetic nutes, soil, and the last 3 weeks would only feed plain Ph'd water. In Hydro I taper and end up...

    Different Benificials Together?

To my understanding you want to populate your soil with Myccorhizae then hit it with Bacteria afterwards (if you are using two separate products). Or if using an "all in one" like Great White, then you just use it at once time. But to answer your question simply, like Refro said you can use both.

    Making Concentrates from Trim

The people who owned a dispensary were debating with one of the guys who used to make their oil, and others. They were saying that you really couldn't tell the different between bho made with bud vs trim as far as quality goes. ^... but I mean in reality, there is a quality difference between a...

Does putting ice in pots do anything in flower??

I've seen the guys at Flora Flex doing it. It is supposed to "stress" the plant to induce more THC production. I believe it was confirmed to be "bro-science" with no merit.
