    Organic Feeding 101.

well first, im no doctor, or biologist, or whatever. but id imagine the uncomposted organic material would have to have the pathogen already, for it to be an issue. seeing as how i use previous pot plants as my primary organic matter, if they had pathogens, i would have smoked them already...

    Low p/h concern

its 5.8 for hydro, 6.5 for soil. either way, what you add doesnt matter, what matters is what comes out (the pH after interacting with your soil). the trick is having soil and fertilizer both close to 6.5, so when they mix, you dont get by-products of chemical reactions, like salt(s). pH...

Bud rot i hope not, with pics

yea to both, cover up the infected branches/plants with a bag, cut them, and remove them from the grow. go through it elsewhere for salvage. go back, check what ya still got. whats temps in there? whats humidity? it might not be bud rot at all and just mites. if thats the case, then stop...

How long do plants usually flower for

yea a 3footer will end up close to 6 ft. unless you topped a lot. i start to flower at 3ft, and it only gets up to 4 or 5 feet cuz i top mine like crazy in veg, and theres too many cola´s for one to grow 3 more feet yield depends, but a 1/2 pound off a topped and LST´d plant isnt hard to do...

How long do plants usually flower for

no its not fast. thats why its key to not speed up vegetative growth. thats when the plant prepares bud sights, grows the roots it will needs and the branches needed to support buds. bigger plant in veg, more nugs in flower. Also why LST is a good idea, to boost yield. either way, if you want...

i really realllllllllllllly dont hope you mean obamacare. the thing is we pay taxes on everything for everything. the last thing i wanna remove is a tax to make people heathy. it sucks we have to pay to make others healthy, sure. but i shouldnt be healthier becuase i have more money. it sucks...

Voters blame president most for slow economic recovery

i agree with you, kinda. we have spending issues. sure. we spend too much on the military, and too much of everything else isnt efficient enough. the government isnt efficient, sure. the other side of the problem tho is that of regulations. shitty lending, sketchy business practices, and...

How long do plants usually flower for

they can go into flower earliest at 18 inches, 24 inches is recommended. (for indoors) The real date they should start flowering is when you see the preflowers while still on a 18/6 cycle, or something close to that. that shows the plant is sexually mature, and ready to make buds. (this also...

Voters blame president most for slow economic recovery

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

well i cant say anything about mites, cuz i dont see them but pic 1 looks high on N (look at the top right leaf, that shit is too dark), low on P, K. pic 2 id bump up P and K, and micro nutes, but that ones doing.... ok... pic 3, 4, 5, hard to tell cuz everythings yellow, but yea add P and K...

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

its practice dude. theres no set amount of nutes a plant needs. if it grows faster, it needs more nutes. if its cold, it needs less water and more nutes. hot temps are more water, less nutes. big plants need more then small ones. you just gotta have some confidence and not freak out. i see a...

Guide to Nutrient Deficiency or Toxicity

70w HPS? you mean 750w? from what i can tell, heat stress! during veg, you can mist them. i try to not do that during flowering tho, crank up the ac, or cut back on the light schedule, an hour or so, or more fans

What to do with waste material?????????????

i too live in an apartment, and this is what i do: leaves, stems, roots, and small branches, cut them up, let them dry out, grind them up or chop them up, and use them in the soil the next grow. (i mix it with soil, and place it in the bottom of the pots, its like slow release nutes). fan...

    Heaviest yeilding strains?

really, its the tecnique and not the strain that i think makes the most difference in yield. an LST´d low yield plant will produce more then a normal growing high yield plant. otherwise, im a big fan of the green crack strains, fast growers. fast bloomers. and easy to clone (atleast for me)

    sog auto's or non auto's

cloning sucks when you first start. i remember i was cutting maybe 20 clones and 19 would die. but after practice, youll get better results. and in the summer, with good heat, and good lighting, you can get an almost 100% success rate. keep trying. its worth it,

    Girlfriend turned off lights!

i dunno why everyone freaks out over this. during veg, lights on lights off, i mean light leaks, not so much a big deal. flowering, i could see ya getting a little paranoid if its just starting to flower, but if its in full bloom, i dont think anything will happen Ive caused a few light leaks...

HELP All seedlings die every time! INDOOR grow

ok well first of all, soil pH is 6.5 to 7. anything different than that will cause issues. next, if your using good dirt, dont feed any nutes til they are atleast 6 inches tall with many more leaves. how is your drainage? how long is it taking the soil to dry after you water? less then 3 days...

Need help as first time grower!

that will work... but really the base line for lighting is an 85w CFL, the big ones! with those little lights your gonna need a lot of them to produce anything really. window sill? no thats no good. besides the fact its not really a controlled environment, you dont even have sunshine. and the...

how hard is it to grow in DWC?

DWC is a paaaaaaaaaaaaaain to set up. but once its going, its pretty easy to maintain and the payoff is worth it. i used a huge rubbermaid container, made holes for the net pots, and placed a plastic screen inside the reservoir (the container) that was an inch or 2 below the net pots to catch...
