    Good books?

What are you saying? I've never grown OG Kush, but I am currently growing a hybrid of it crossed with a Cherry strain(Cherry Kush). Not sure which. The hybrid is a very potent, pleasant high. It was every bit as good as Girl Scout Cookie and White Russian, last year.

First plant of the year chopped!

I've seen plants with that apparent size produce a pound. Could be if the plant is symmetrical.

Any rough guess on yields on these plants ??? 200-300 gallon smart pots

I'd guess a minimum of 4 pounds each. Could be as much as 6.

Morning Sunlight vs Late Afternoon Sunlight

I have two greenhouses. One is Situated on the compass points, facing due South. The North side of both greenhouses is wood siding. The second greenhouse is situated facing 30 degrees Southwest. The first greenhouse consistently produces 30% more than the second. In most places, morning light is...

    My Outdoor Garden-2010

Thanks! Keep in mind this was an active grow thread. There are a lot of tangents, and most of my photos were lost in some kind of crash. I hope you find it interesting.

    My Outdoor Garden-2010

I'm bumping this for those who've never seen it. I put a lot of info into it, based on over thirty years(over 50 years veggie gardening) of experience. I was fortunate to have four grandparents who gardened, and enjoyed having a curious grandson to "help" them.

Taking pictures of a flowering at night ?

No, a few dozen flashes on one night won't hurt anything. I took a bunch of night bud shots many years ago. The crystals shone like diamonds. Beautiful!

    white pistils dry too early

Strange things can happen. As long as the leaves and Calyxes stay green, you should be OK.

doublejj's BIG 2014 greenhouse adventure Reloaded......

I switched to 1-4-3 August 1st, but now I think it was a bit premature. As others have mentioned, the budding process seems a bit slow this year. Everything is budding, but slow to gain bulk.

Is this plant ready - pictures

If you are in the central valley I'd give it a couple more weeks, if you don't have mold problems(unlikely, this early). Giving it more time will increase yield, sometimes substantially. In a mature female, past making more than just a few new flowers, the calyxes(seed pods) will swell to...

How much yeild do you think

Tough to judge, but I'd say 16 to 20 oz, with proper care.

Is it good to constantly heat up the soil ?

A straight answer to your seemingly silly question. A plant needs water for respiration to control its internal temperatures. Evaporating moisture from the soil does nothing to help this process while increasing the need for the moisture. My plants do well in temperatures of up to 140 degrees in...
