12/12 from seed 136 watts CFL (first time)

yeah it seems pretty dank, but not compared to the ones i see with hps lights 
. when i grab the cola in the picture, my hand gets all sticky with resin and i smell my hand until it wears off. and it smells like " this shit is going to be strong!" thats waht goes through my head everytime i touch the plant and smell my hand. but my room doesnt wreak. just a light hint. my goal is to let it go for 9th week into bud. im about to go on my 8th week this wednesday.

Yeah.. That cola looks dank ass hell.. Dry it right and let it cure for a month, and it will reveal its true smell.. I dont think flowering, even full budded plants still in the dirt, smell as good as they do when cured..
My plant.. Its time to figure out a hanging light for it.. I'm gonna get a small rubbermaid bin, and put screws in it to hang my power supplies on the inside, I think I will put an intake and exhaust on the rubbermaid bin, which will be hella easy, and it will cool the lights.. Cause the fan I have for circulation does enough of that already, and I'm in a pretty open space.. It stays around 76F to 81F.. but usually 77F if I have the AC on in my crib..

And the irritating cough you get from un-cured bud is horrible sometimes.

I topped this bitch, and still got her under stationary lights.. I took a few cfls out to focus on my seedlings (pic included of those) and now I have just 210 watts on my female.. Which is more than enough I'm sure.. Check out the pics, and tell me what you think..

Lookin good for a straight 12/12. Never done it myself because the plants always look weak.
From what I see with these 12/12 from seed grows, Its like a stick with buds only on the main stalk.
vegging would really really help.
Keep it up though, a grow is a grow which means more experience for next time.

looks good! But all those nice colas under the main will never get to develop seeing there not enough light on them,i use floro's for the sides when budding .8$ for 1 20"fixture and i think ten for the grow bulb at wal mart.and there low watt also so i use 3 together as in pic.and rotate plant 3 4 time a day , and you can get rid of bottom sets of branchs for they are the sucker branchs.lol.then the plant can focus on the upper more important branchs..looking good tho! as pwizzle said any grows a good grow !!!smoke them buds !!

So you are saying that if I get some side lighting (which if I did, they would be the single bulb circular reflectors, with a 23 watt cfl in it, one for both sides) that I could just snip off the bottom branches to let the plant focus on the upper buds? How far up should I go with the cutting?

My female is doing great.. No new pics, Im just too lazy.. 
I have whatever deficiency makes the leaves purple, cause the fan leaves are purple around the edges, and the inner leaves around the budsites are mainly purple.. Thats not a horrible thing.. The plant smells super skunky, and I can see trichs on the newer growth in the bud areas..

mmmm got to love trics,is it posable that its getting root bound,whenever 1 of my plants gets root bound all leaves get like deep purple around edges and look doomy ..but then repot and 2 days growing like a champ and leave got back to nice deep green.an for lights i have mylar in grow area and nothing for floros,they are so close and no real heat that with the low lumens reflector not much help.BUT useing floros you will see a dif..and for trimming up most pros will tell you bottom 3rd are "sucker"branches ...but i can leave more on with super cropping and topping,so i usualy take of bottom four or so ,some of the smaller branches will be only a little weaker because you doing the floro on the side thing..good luck !

Things are looking good grape. In that first experiment I refer to as a "grow", once I added side lighting I noticed how much the bud density increased along with just overall bud production. If I don't get close to the results I'm expecting this time around I think I will have to upgrade to a low wattage HPS bulb for better density and higher yeilds due to better light penetration.

im using the same miracle-gro house plant food you have in that picture...
how much do you give? i just gave my plant its 3rd dose. i started out with 3 drops for 1 red plastic cup of water. the next watering i gave 5 drops, and this morning i gave 7. im not going to go over 10 since it says 10-20 drops per quart. and im not giving a whole quart i dont think...but the numbers are low so im not too worried about nute burn either...

Leaves are fine.. Its a big pot, and I had transplanted into that one only a few weeks ago..
and theonetitty, I used about 7 drops of it in 16 ounces of water.. I switched to MG all purpose, due to the 15-30-15 ratio.. I think the houseplant liquid is 8-7-6 which was nice for the early weeks of my plants life..
