i'm kind of pissed.. don't have anywhere to go for a few days, so some snow fall wouldn't be too much of a headaches imo.. it is feb. and all and we haven't gotten anything really up till this point..
it's been raining here all day and is about 38 degrees or so.. supposed to get only a few inches when the temps drop over night.. what a jipp..
i didnt want this. i was supposed to go grab the finishing supplies for my box..... i want your rain, you can have the snow

i was watching the weather channel too. those people crack me up though.. it is feb. and it is boston, omg, it's snowing in feb. in boston and other north east cities and towns, what is going on here?? lol.. they sure do love to sensationalize things don't they?

And who was the dumb ass that decided to start naming these storms? Emo? Sounds like something Al Roker would cook up to increase viewing traffic. I'm really disappointed in the direction TWC has gone since Mr. Roker joined the gang.

NBC owns the weather channel, a suit somewhere thought up the marketing of storms. Notice a few months back you local nbc affiliate most likely had a fb post in regards to naming storms.

lol, i was thinking the same thing.. when did they start naming winter storms? never heard such nonsense in all of me life.. hurricanes are one thing, but wtf, now they're going to name every fricking rain shower we have from now till eternity?? a bit much imvho..

They've been naming winter storms on the local news around here for years. Of course it's for ratings. Everything done on tv is done for ratings...that's the whole point I think.

It finally started to.snow here around 8pm or so.. i just opened the.door to look out and althoug it's still snowing.. t he streets aren't even covered..nor our sidewalks.. i guess all the.rain earljer heated things up just enough...i.do hear trucks out though as i guess they're putting down salt..
