2 minute cheap & easy carbon filter (no duct tape)

crush charcoal..same effect....a billion times less expensive....bake in the oven if you are too cheap to buy another bag a $1.99

google "auto air filter" then "images" it will give you all kinds of filter to size up and know what you want when you go to the auto store looking for what you need. Toyota looks like the type 1st shown in the original display.
Great work DUDE! Stoked and Smoked.
Intertaining purposes only Big Brother

Diesle Filters are much bigger and could provide much more air flow that way your not taxing the exaust fan

I have one up and running. Made it out of a 4" axial fan, a 3" reducer and a honkin' big truck filter. Works great.

Cheers!

Has anyone used this, how effective is it? Great diy filter

I wanted to use a home depot 250cfm inline fan ($25) but read it would burn out fast due to that it wasnt strong enough to suck through the carbon.which fan did you use?

LOL...Awesome! Gonna have car air filters sticking out the side and top of our grow cabs :hump:

Innovative bro :hump:

Got a Cold Air Intake, 1,000,000 CFL's, 40,000 Watts of HPS, 400 Horsepower air pump, and a Corn Silo. What kinda nutes should I truck In???

EVEN CHEEPER AND EVEN EASIER......for small personal Grow!

It is a regular, non ocilating fan.

Then take a flat pc. of cardboard twice the size of your fans face then fold in half.

Then use your own brand of african engineering from here.

Remember you will want to be able to change out the activated carbon in the filter so have somewheres to slide it in and out. Also the better sealed the thing is the more air it will push through your filter and not out the sides and underneath.....this is set up to be a fan and a filter. It works better that those ionic craps for cigg and weed odors.

So supplies.....cardboard box, deskfan, and large aquarium filters and activated charcoal and po mans genius.

Heres some pics to get you peeps started. We all broke lets not make the bad guys any richer!!! Don't Buy Midds

Sweet Post man, keep up the good work, just 2 questions:

How long does this tend to last til smell leaks through?
Also does it restrict air flow @ all?

nice idea hope it works :)
you got any other ideas on how to minimise smell ?
PM me if you do thanks could really do with minimising this smell :)

peace and respect :joint::peace:

Wow, very smart idea. I was actually just going to get all the parts for a diy carbon filter, but this one seems much less complicated. Thanks for saving me time and money! +Rep to you!
