Yessir, I spent an hour every morning before work with a shovel/pick axe/and about a half a pot of coffee. It's 15'x15' and about 10ft deep. Honestly, you don't need a lot of space; just tight lips and good cover!
Absolutely man! Looking forward to watching your grow progress through the season. Yeah you are right, I don't need a crazy amount of room, it just can be tough living in the city with neighbors pretty much right on top of you. I do keep the gate to my fence locked from the inside so the only way to get into my back yard is to either hop the 6' wood fence or go through my house. Hopefully in the next few years I will be moving to the suburbs and will have a little more privacy.

I have been doing some LST and topped them at various points earlier in the season. My neighbors have never given my a hard time about anything really but you just never know. I just get worried at times since I think some are able to see over the fence when on a higher floor and I'd much rather keep it completely secret even though I'm in a legal state. I have lived in the city my whole life and it's definitely time for a change.
I mix plastic flowers into my pots when I have plants outside. Hide in plain site.
I get the paranoia the coppers chopper flys over my house/grow every single day more than once a day. Live only a couple miles from the launch pad. I've been doing this for almost a decade never been hassled yet. I'm banking on as long as I'm not growing acres or dozens/hundreds of plants I should be good.
Thank you!!! Since you have more time Thani did to get things ready, I suggest you look into walapini designs. That's how I started but couldn't find the time construct a proper roof. I would have preferred laying down gravel on the ground and then covering it up with some native soil to help with drainage. I also had plans on lining the walls with ceramic tiles or bricks to hold the days temp throughout the night (ideal for light dep). If you get this going (proper, not half assed like mine) you could potentially harvest like four times a year. Just veg them inside and toss them in your walipini/greenhouse and start your dep. It takes the average plant about 8 weeks. Shit, you could get a perpetual harvest going! Sometimes I wish I could stay and make the correct adjustments but then I remember where this harvest will take me; I'd rather start from scratch in HILO!!!
