I bought quantum boards that are 2700k in color. It's gonna be great for flower but must I really buy another one that's 4000k for veg? Will my current 2700k light suck for veg?
I have a 6 cob too 3500k with a 3000k QB in the middle.I've got a 6 cob rig with 3500 in the two middles, 2700s in the four corners. I haven't vegged with them though, so ya- do a grow journal! I'm interested.
If you add supplemental royal blue you can balance the energy. Royal Blue 460nm creates energy for red colors to work harder and reduce stretch. You can also use the RB thru flower as well since it muliplies the energy for red light to absorb at higher rates.I bought quantum boards that are 2700k in color.
