This last grow we did a tray with only 250w of vesta 2700 90cri and it kept the pace with trays of 400w. Very impressed

My windows face east and west so no luck.

Glad to hear the Vesta is holding its own, mine will be operational in about two weeks. Running a combination of series & parallel. Drivers that hit the sweet spot for these Vesta's are the HLG-185H-48AB (AB for remote poti - should be available in May) or the Inventronics EUD-240S320DT (3200ma max 23-107V range). Can put this driver in any number of configurations of series & parallel. Max number in series is 4 Vesta's at 100V and this driver is good to 107V. The added benefit of Inventronics drivers is being able to program CCT and intensity changes throughout day.

They also have some other interesting driver offerings but don't look to be stocked, one in a quad channel output and another a dual output with independent control of each. The spec's are in the sweet spot for 4 Vesta's in series too.

i initially liked the idea of the inventronics drivers being programmable, timer/ramp up and down dimming ect, but i was under the impression that once they are in programmed mode i thought you couldn't use a remote dimmer anymore. so unless you know the amount of light your leds put out at different heights and the light requirements of the particular strain your growing its kind of hard for you to pre program them for intensity/dimming.
do you know if this is correct or can you just use the timer functions of the inventronics with a remote dimmer?

The programable inventronics drivers I have used still have 1-10V dimming regardless of the program.
Inventronics make alot of different drivers though and they do make alot that is not available to view via the website, need to check specific model numbers to know if they do or don't dim.

do you remember did the remote dimmer override any pre set dimming in the program or was the programmable dimming just not activated when a remote dimmer was used?.

i see inventronics now sell the TDD-ANFN-0001 which is a dimmer module you can use with any 0-10v dimmable driver that gives you the timing and dimming features of the inventronics drivers. but i cant see how you could use a remote dimmer with it.

I haven't delt with inventronics for a while although I do like the products they have over meanwell. I really do not know what they have new now. The drivers they have are top quality and functionality, one of the issues I have is fast supply and also price. Meanwell are dirt cheap here and readily available like they are in most of the world. I will take a look at the current range they have soon as I need to do a quote on a bulk order for someone.

I am pretty sure you can remote dim them once the program is set, it just overrides the program. I was originally going to install poti's but to change intensity I raise/lower the ht. of the fixture. The TDD is the same, it has dimming leads so just add poti between it and driver and your good to go. If you want to put a nail in the coffin on this phone into their tech support, either Landon or the applications engineer Breanna, both good people.

Found features in the Inventronics that Meanwell couldn't match. If going with a constant voltage I would still go Meanwell, but for constant current (constant power) Inventronics hands down. The constant power driver gives you a lot more flexibility in how you want to set it up. I suggest downloading the program before you buy to fool around with how its setup.

The Inventronics driver lineup is large, took a while to find which ones are applicable in general and then to my setup. The programmable driver lineup for North America is the:

EFD (220V 1200W)
ESD (high voltage)
EUD (all the bells and whistles, dim to off)
EUG (all the features I needed best price point, 10%-100% dim)
EUK
EUR (round drivers)
HUK
LUD

Out of that I narrowed it down to the EUG, prices on par with Meanwell at 150W or below. Wattages 240 or higher its a better price point than Meanwell in both the EUD and EUG series. Decent supply at Future Electronics. You'll mostly likely want to look for a DT model, ie EUG-150S140DT. Maybe even a DTA (auxiliary power) or a DTL (long life) models. Stay away from DV models for above list, they are for Europe.

EUG line is what I went with, pretty happy. To note I am not affiliated with Inventronics, just did a lot of research.

There was several different. 2700 and 3000 in 80cri. To be more exact it was more like 375 over a 3.2x 4 feet tray.

I wouldnt read too much into this, its an 11 week strain so maybe it was just a bit ahead. But it makes me very interested in testing more extreme and dedicated flowering spectrums, even if efficiency takes a bow.

Hey,
How are you able to get inventronics?

Been there.
Just recently too. Said/says 5-11 days for the one I wanted, I was somewhat hopeful. Contacted for info; 11-14weeks lead time...
They're possible to get at least... :/
