So to be clear, fce 3000 is a 300w light?Hi there,
I'm started to cook 5 plants in 2x2. I'm open to any idea bout how to keep it together.
Light Fce 3000 Mars.
Strains - White Widow(Ghs) - Super Lemon Haze(Ghs) -. Malawi (Ace seeds) - Golden Tiger(Ace Seeds) - Colombian Gold (World of seeds)
Thanks people
300 Watt. 27,5 x 27,5 x 63,5 inch.So to be clear, fce 3000 is a 300w light?
2x2 , you mean 2ft x 2ft?
Or are we talking meters?
I'll do topping and Sog together and flower them little bit earlier.I'm just here for the ideas. I have a 2x2.5 tent and one plant goes wall to wall. Even my short little indicas crowd that tent. 5 plants seem wild especially with 2 ace sativa seeds.
My only idea would be flowering them as soon as they're mature enough to flower. But I personally think the Malawi and golden tiger will take over that tent. Maybe solo cup grows? Or at most 1 gallon?
Lights a bit excessive but itl be interesting to see how it pans out300 Watt. 27,5 x 27,5 x 63,5 inch.
I took side panels out for vegatition. The light is Mars Hydro, they have gifted to me once upon a time as a winner.Lights a bit excessive but itl be interesting to see how it pans out
How long man?How many weeks you say? Keep me grounded.I've ran 4 in a 3x3 with like 50 days veg 5 gal buckets (very crowded)
I am currently running my 2 single plant in the 3x3 in a 10 gal buds are wall to wall but tons of air flow under which I'm a big fan of
You could do 5 in a 2x2 but keep your pots small and don't veg very long
With all due respect, you're growing four plants too many in a 2x2. A single healthy plant will completely fill a 2x2. The only advantage of more plants is a potential shorter veg time. Canopy area determines yields, not plant count.Hi there,

I'll train them like a Japanese Gardner then. I don't have a place for another tent now man and got only Super Lemon Haze Ghs as a stash. I love it tough got bit over 100 gr 2 years cured under perfect conditions. With all due respect, you're growing four plants too many in a 2x2. A single healthy plant will completely fill a 2x2. I understand the urge to up the plant count, and have done so myself, but the downsides of growing five different cultivars in a 2x2 far outweigh any perceived benefit.
It's not just an issue of training - you need to cut your veg time very short. I'd look at topping at 21 days and flipping right after that. No way I would not top - per below, you're going to have some challenges lighting the grow but topping will make things a little easier to manage.I'll train them like a Japanese Gardner then. I'm a little bit strain hungry atm. But you're right in sooth.
12/12 from seed was my thought.you need to cut your veg time very short
Allright. I'll keep all in mind. I'll flip very early to 12/12. I think this light is fair enough for this tent. Some people told me the power of it can harm the plants. But got you! It will be winter time anyway which will help me to balance the temperature. It's not just an issue of training - you need to cut your veg time very short. Another issue - if you don't give them a lot of light, they'll stretch and you'll end up with tall, scraggly plants. Plants that get a lot of light don't stretch because they don't have to and they can put their energy into branching.
On the topic of light, this is the PPFD map of your light and it's got a serious hot spot. The higher you hang a light, the more even the PPFD map. With that light, even at 16" you've got 50% more light in the center than you do on the edges so you're going to have to move your plants around to get even lighting on them. HPS growers had to do that back in the day so it's not a new issue.

Re. the light - I feed my plants well (light is how plants make food, right?)Allright. I'll keep all in mind. I'll flip very early to 12/12. I think this light is fair enough for this tent. That will definitely keep them small!12/12 from seed was my thought.
One of our Rollitup members cleverly managed a sativa grow by flowering only the clones. If I recall correctly, he never flowered the plant he grew out from seed.
In theory, you could take clones from your plants at around week 3 or 4 of veg. The time it takes a clone to root, plus transplant shock, will delay growth but the clone will be mature enough to flower immediately.
Im sure someone can chime in and expand on this.
