Ive seen a bunch of recommended distances for the hps. Can anyone recommend what there height is in veg in a 4x4 tent and a 600 watt hps? I'm growing mostly indicas the oldest being 30 days old

I veg under 600 hps. Typically. 2-3 weeks from clones.
4 ft min above plants. For indicating maybe higher if you want to induce more stretch, and get a bit more node spacing.

Thanks got em 36 inches from plants I have a dimmable ballast every time I put it's above 600 to 750 or 1000 the power goes out do you think I'll be able to flower under this I have about 13 plants digolux bulb they vary in size I'll get some pics up I have tons of these hype strains pink runtz, gorilla punch ,gluelatto ,biscotti ,loud jelly beans ,city slicker,pebble punch

Do you guys get a lot of stretch doing this vs MH or CMH for veg?

A tiny bit not that much that I'd get a different light to veg, it depends on the bulb too my digolux bulb has uv and 25 percent more blue light but cmh is great the cri is about as close to the sun as you could get I hung a 630 watt at the top of my tent and it was too much light in veg unfortunately it's not recomended to unscrew one bulb even though they said it had a dimmable ballast in the Amazon page so I'm returning it,plus some LEDs the node spacing can get a little to tight and more apt to moldy buds or you can get crazy vegetative plants spindeley I like the shape of the plant my hps gives me because alot of people defoliate like crazy anyways or they strip everything but the first node so whats the point if your just gonna cut it anyway with hps you get like one main cola and the bud to leaf ratio is way less so means less trimming this is only my experience anywau

What do you mean power goes out? Like you trip a breaker? If so your get your electric game under control before you do anything else. You can flower at 600 w no problem. In 4x4. As long as your controlling the heat and airflow

Ya my power ,the extra heat helps in new England in winter I just open my window and it stays in high 70s and put my humidifier on it's like the Bahamas lol jk

Here they are some nodes are stretchy like the bottom nodes came up and are stretched and some are fine?

Why would u want more stretch? wouldn't u want nodes as close as possible? or does that stunt the plant?
