Hell yeah man....Two 600's....Awesome!!!!!! I had heat problems(80* is high for my liking) with just the one...although it is a 1000watter dimmed to 600....I've always wondered if a true 600 runs cooler than a 1000w bulb dimmed down??...good luck man...I'm rootin' for ya to pull it off!!!....Where in the house is it???Basement???What's the ambient temp outside the tent???
its in a spare bedroom that has an AC unit built into the wall, so the ambient temp outside the tent can be what i need it to be, and also i have winter coming so i can really just crack the window open in that room and make it as cool as i need it to be... with my single 600w setup the tent would stay a bit warm until i found out that i really needed a fan controller to turn down how fast my 6" vortex was cycling the air. now i run it at like 20% and the temps went down like 5-7F... worse comes to worse i will spend more money on environmental controls, or some co2. i know this setup will not work for me in the summer unless i add an AC unit, next summer i wont even care though
as for right now ive been busy as shit harvest is done, i pulled off 13oz of dry, with a couple oz's of popcorn and a good amount of sugar leaves for medibles... overall i was slightly disappointed in the yield, i had really expected to get more out of it. my bud is manicured very very well, so i probably lost a little bit of weight with little bits of leaves that people would typically leave on. however, overall i blame the lesser yield on times when i had been out of town and my girl let high ph's go for a day or two, and the stress from the spider mites... the purple kush x tw turned out the best as far as bag appeal/medical use, so im running nothing but that this next time. it yielded a lot less than the TW, but im chalking that up to individual stress on the plant, and possibly because it had to reveg, so we will see what it will do with a shit ton of FIM'ing, 2x600w, and undivided attention by me... i will try to get some finished picks of the buds sometime tonite or tomorrow, ive been busy as shit making changed in the room the tent is to get ready for either a 4x8 tent or another 4x4... im pretty sure the mites have fucked off and died now, but im steam cleaning the carpet, fogging, and bleached my tent surfaces... right now i anticipate having my veg plants in there by the weekend.
i have also decided to pitch the idea of using styrofoam board as a res lid, and am busting out the cooler lid, and cutting some holes in it tomorrow... i am also putting a permanent water pump in there with a hose stubbed up to the top of the reservoir for easy pumping into and out of the reservoir for adjustments and res changes and making some other slight changes... anyways, back to work, take it easy...
