8 BubbleHeads start 12/12

thats a bummer Rose. I will be celebrating my birthday this evening and will deffinately dedicate one of these jose' shots and pure gold cannons to your girl. should it be to a quick recovery or a death in the family?

sorry to hear that bro, hey i feel your pain i did the same to my only female but only broke off 2 branches but she healed herself so did u pull her out or did u leave her?

And on a sad note, I dropped a lamp and it landed squarely in the middle of my largest female and broke off 5 major branches. I mean brokr OFF too. A pitiful site, it happened so quick. I could cry. I 'm going to have a couple shots with my beer this evening.

I put my foot in the pic to show you how big those branches were. Those five branches would have grown even longer and given me a couple ounses of buds.

I had to do some serious BENDING OVER of some of the taller plants today. They call it LST, or Low Stress Training. Normally, LST also means tying them down or tying them over, but I did not tie them, I only tilted two of the grow cups sideways.
Breaking those 5 branches sure thinned them out some. I could just cry.

sorry to hear that man those branches lookked great too. hopefully you will yeild enough to not even notice.

i think i have about 3-4 weeks til harvest i think is time to buy a microscope any suggestion

How long have you been on 12/12? It looks like you've got more than 3-4 weeks to go but that's just my opinion. They look great though!

I pulled 2 males today, this is my first DWC and that was a chore trying to deal with them roots tangled mess. i ended up cutting some of the roots but maybe to much because now my largest female is looking depressed and droopy. I also broke a branch today so i cut it and dipped it in cloning gel gonna try to salvage that branch. after about 6 hours my largest female started to perk up a little bit, it sure looks thin without them males in there. When removing males and or cutting roots do you experience that droopy-ness and if so how long will it last. I'll get some pics and post them soon. Click the link in my sig check them out.

The best way to keep your roots from getting tangled is to pull your plants up and out of the res every other day, or every day. This is what I do, and it works for me.

When I chop a male I take up to half the nearest plant's roots. Did get droop once when I did it but it didn't last 1/2 day. Most of the time nothing happens when I chop but some strains are more reactive than others. I don't mind if the roots get tangled and DD I applaud your attention to detail. It's just that I could never remember to do it! Lot's of time a cut root will stimulate growth. Hard to say if it's the root trim or the fact that the remaining plant now sees more light or a combo of the two but it ain't all bad and that's good enough for me. Still sorry to hear about the males!

Well, I have these "nice" little 3 gallon tubs that give me just about a 2 gallon reservoir, so I have to keep an eye on them pretty frequently. It is a bit tedious, but it keeps me from slacking off on it. I'll do a few more runs with this setup and eventually switch over to a single large tub. I just need to find a tub that is the perfect fit for my tent.

has to top off res and thought i would take a few pics....

I just wack those females roots, sometiems half of them, to get all the males roots out. The female will bounce back in one day.
