What this kid said.

:blsmoke:
Hey guys! Thanks for the input. They still are really green and I only gave them (1) feeding of nitrogen throughout flowering. I want to let those leaves yellow up as much as possible so maybe i'll take them the full 15 days.

I avoided touching the bulbs at all when installing them and they havn't seen a hand since. I'm not sure what the deal is but its rather frustrating.

Can I finish off my grow with a 400w mh bulb? Any advantages/disadvantages?

Thanks everyone for sticking around.

with a 400 watt the buds arnt gettin as much light as they wouldve been unless you lower that light when you thro the smaller bulb in, and you get roughly 1/4 of your wet weight when its all dry, so if wet its 100grams, youd get around 25 or so

I understand how much weight i'll end up losing im just wondering how size the buds lose after drying.

Also, obviously i'll have less light with the 400w :hump: I'm pissed, stupid bulbs.

Today I was scoping out my buds and I noticed one of big buds was rotted. I cut it off and tore it apart. It was brown inside and there was cotton-like stuff at the very middle along the stem.

any ideas? I inspected everything else and couldnt find any. I think I may have spilt water on it or something by accident.

Don't use a humidifier!!!
If anything use a dehumidifier!!!
Only tender baby clones need humidity.
Sorry but that white cotton is mold attributed to your humidifier.

You are running a humidifier? No way, you want 40% or less RH during flowering or you're going to rot away all of your buds. Take that one outta there and get your humidity down.

If it is an fact running then just turning it off will be enough,
you can get a dehumidifier but idk might be overkill.

I have read through the last 10 pages of your grow!

First off, rep+ and good job!

I was sorry to read about the recent bud rot...Crank that AC up! You can drop your temps down and dry out the room! I am able to keep my rH this way down at 41%

I also think you should push back your harvest date! Those plants are not at their peak in terms of time to harvest.

Thanks for all the replies.

I inspected most of my bud and couldn't find any. I am pretty sure I spilt water on this bad girl as my watering technique isn't the greatest.

My humidity is at about 50% although I wish it was lower, I cant get it any lower without a portable dehumidifier.

The humidifier just sits in my room, it hasnt been on for months.

Im going to re-check everything tonight and we'll see. I cut off a sample of about two grams to see how it smokes.

I'll go take pics of the plants tonight and my little nug I cut off.

Thanks everyone for the replies hopefully I dont find anymore or ill be pissed.

You can set that sample cutting on a CFL and it will dry up in like an hour or less.
Just remember to turn it every 20 min. or so.
I've tried a few quick dry methods and this seems to work best for small samples.
