Hey Boomer. Yes, I started with 12 3 gallon pots under 1 light until they got to big for there space. I spread them apart for about 1 week of veg and then made the flip to 12/12.
They defiently out grew the most efficient part of the light but it didnt seem to make a difference as I have good solid big nugs around the edges of the canopy as well as in the middle of the canopy.
Right now they are all seperated at different ways, I basically just made a puzzle out of my plants. Although they got to heavy and started leaning on each other and causing ultra high-humidity, and thats where I got my little bit of rot.
Anyways, 4x4 canopy typically for a 1000w and about 3x3 a little bigger for 600ws. Try to set the lamps close enough to over-lap your light but not too close where ur wasting grow space.[/QUOTE
Hey Bterz, I have been doing for a few yrs now and most of my grows have been with 6" 1gallon containers and I still get around 2z from each plant using a 600w hps. I have a hight issue so I toss in to flower at 8-10 inch. I just watered them and they were fine. I saw another season grower just use 16oz solo cups the whole way through still got a good deal of meds. It sucked because of the watering all of the time.
