The others are living together for now. Use less watts this way. 6F23F5FE-C6CB-47D3-81B1-A1C06F1C5D97.jpegI added nematodes a while ago and they seemed to have worked. Not seeing many flyers around. I also added some homemade EWC to the tops. Will topdress again as I just know I’ll be running out of food in 5 weeks so best to start packing it on now.

Day 4 of 12/12. Added in second batch of nematodes. Still have the odd flyer. Added in some strip lights to the vertical section. Seems the stretch part of the program is starting. Bigger gals in the trellis are drinking a lot. Filling every second day. 1B226AB8-BD73-4A00-BE41-AFB462C9DEF1.jpegB3A83D90-05F2-45FB-943A-CF24C9D86544.jpeg

If you have access to really good Worm Castings, I highly suggest using them for nematodes. You can also keep a worm bin and get homemade fresh castings every 3 months

Ya I have a worm bin. It’s took awhile to rid that of gnats. In the summer it had quite a few. I sprayed nematodes in it a couple weeks ago I’ve now also moved it inside to a warmer location. I haven’t seen any lately so fingers crossed. Most of what I’ve added to my sips has been store bought. Hoping with the warmer temps now it will produce more castings.

So what your saying is the store bought ewc is shit and I should find some fresher stuff that has the proper bug life. Lol. Thanks. Learning more ea day. There is some places that sell fresh castings in my city. I’ll check them out. Cheers.

I hope I didn’t sound like a dick, it was definitely not my intentions or how I wanted to come across. But yes, store bought is usually really bad. I swear they just throw a bunch of leaves on dirt and collect what deep burrowing worms left behind. There’s usually no beneficial bugs in there and the microorganisms more than likely fell incredibly in population. Look into those places that produce fresh castings and see how they make them and store them. It’ll be more expensive but definitely worth it.

if you want to speed up the process in your worm bin egg shells apparently kick start their reproductive cycles and so do malted barley. Just be careful with malted barley, it could heat the soil up. Also don’t forget carbon, they love newspapers and leaves.

I wish you the best, I know you’ll do it

Day 9 of 12/12. Added in some 48W strip lights to help fill in the larf. Also some extensions to the trellis to help open her up. Plants are a stretchen’ Top dressed with the kelp, alfalfa frass mix at 6 tbls per sip. Temp and humidity are up 80f 60%rh. added in a 400 HPS to help up the leaf temps.
Sure notice the extra RH. Plants seem to like it. 44EBB213-378F-4DAB-A771-4ECECCC480C6.jpegCCC720E5-24A7-4AD0-B979-B84824008A33.jpegC8204470-BA59-4FDE-822E-9F0FF93E7117.jpeg79EF5129-7653-4B92-BC54-FFDDE5BF4B00.jpeg

I don’t know if it was this thread or another, but someone strongly discouraged top fish bone meal in flower, because of the high amount of phosphorus. They said cannabis never goes deficient in that, and it will lock up the calcium. I’m suspicious of that reasoning but curious. What do you top dress your SIP’s in flowering?
