Yeah man. The hardest part of growing (in my opinion) is nailing the dry and cure. I think it being the last step(s) is what makes it hard to get a hang of. There's no real way to 'practice' it, like you would growing out other plants. Once the dry and cure is upon you, it's live. There's no re-do's or do-overs, and if a mistake is made, it's another 12-16 weeks before you get another crack at it.

But it sounds like you got it now. Even after hanging for 10 days the buds still typically have some moisture, even if the outsides feel super crispy. Just takes a little finesse to extract that moisture out evenly, and that's where that open|close|open|close technique shines.

Keep up the great work man.
I appreciate it so much. This has truly been great and helpful advice. I think I would have been in a little bit of a panic if I hadn't remembered you posting something about turkey bags because I had way more material than I predicted, and the branches dried unevenly. The turkey bag deal actually makes sense to me unlike the paper bag method. I know it's just skinning a cat different ways, but I didnt like the idea of paper and oily trichs. You da man!

That is what in aiming for. I think a 10 day hang would be perfect. Nice job on getting the dry down. Smokebros is right about it being hard to nail down because you dont get another wack at it till months later, on average

got some new larger glassware today so that I could get the buds out of the turkey bags and into something perttier. Thanks to @smokebros , all of these nugs are coming out very evenly dried and smelling great. (even after the hang dry went a little too fast). the pictures are from my recent harvest. one plant. Adam's OG. Grown in coco/perlite. Flowered for 71 days. I haven't weighed things yet but I'm sure this is a personal record.

I should and explain a little further what the hell I'm thinking using a big ass jar with no air right seal. Theres really no good explanation. Pretty much, I got too much other stuff going on and haven't felt like individually jaring them and this jar looked badass. I thought I would take then out of the turkey bags and put then together in here, semi air-tight, and they wouldn't continue to even out the humidity while still being able to exchange gasses (I knew I would find use for my parafilm again :)). Hence me not having to burp as much, hence therefore leaving me more time to jack off. Less chance of budmold with constant gas exchange. Maybe not tho, we shall see tho. Another pic with the parafilm on in case anyone doesnt know wth parafilm is. Seals things up and still allows GE while preventing airflow. Its actually awesome shit.

Well it's back at it again. I have been busy with life lately and this plant got some extra veg time. I should also add that I really didnt I tend to flower this plant either as it was just a mother. But this strain is proving to be a quick flower so I've been able to fit it into "my perpetual shedule". I'm going to try using an MH light for the first two weeks of flower to reduce stretch and of course tame the plant as much as possible (trim, prune, defoliate a little maybe). I flipped her today after getting the net smashed down as far as possible for now. I could have flipped her a few weeks ago but didn't get around to clean and preparing for the next round. The pic of the jarred cannabis is from my last two harvest. Things start building up quickly with perpetual growing :). I love me my own medicine cabinet that wont cause tardive dyskinesia or suicidal thought etc etc.

I emptied the buds out of their jars today to inspect the buds and manicure them a little further. I wouldn't be a true home grower if I didnt take a million pics, so here is some random pics of the last harvest after being jarred for a bit (2+ weeks I think). And the other pic of the large plant is the next crop of Adam's OG. It's about one week into flowering,...I fell behind my schedule so I'm using mh for first week to slow down limit stretch.

This is basically a test plant. I wasnt sure if I was going to flower this plant or not because of how large it got. Its about 20 days from 12/12. I wouldnt be trying this if I didnt know that this particular lady (Adam's OG) is very resilient to heat and light intensity. I'm just going to continue to monitor things and see how well this works out. I've been adjusting the canopy every other day about. if youre curious on the outcome, you should follow for updates :). stay healthy! the canopy is about 6 inches from the light fixture. Sorry for the hps pics, it's all I got right now

Just another update. Day 29 of 12/12. Canopy seems managed finally. If you're following at all, you know that this was more or less an unintended experiment to see how close this strain can get to the light without damage. These colas should be some fatties at harvest.

Just another update..I have come down with some coronavirus like symptoms, the high fever being the most debilitating thing. Cant really work in the grow room for very long. Dont know how this will play out :/

I mean we have no idea if we were exposed. It's very possible since so lots can be carriers with no symptoms, so yea

I went through and cleared my phone space up and went through photos. Heres a compilation of some random photos I saved from the last couple harvests...none of the pics are of my current grow. I'm bored and cant work in my grow room bc of a fever (cant deal with lights), so I'm doing this ha. Sorry for the redundancy
