Advanced Nutrients - Organic Soil, Input?

I forget what thread I already said what in... But as far as organics, a lot of Advanced products are organic, but not certified.

Big Bud is the #1 recomendation from me. Outstanding product.

If you can afford it, voodoo and scorpion.

It's not organic, but overdrive is pretty awesome, and affordable.

yes, with a base nutrient, i dont care if its organic or not.
how bout the humic and fulvic acids?
sensizyme is the most expensive enzyme product, how often do you use and how much, cause according to their calculator, they want you to use 4 bottles every run ( slight exageration)

their base nutrients are liquid, they have a blooming additive thats powder, and some root beneficials that are powder

Hmm, I wonder if there are any companies that sale base nutes in powdered form, then again that would make things more diffcult, but some of us already grow stashes in difficult ways.

its a shame the starter of the thread cut out...i use most of the advance nute line up...i started using it upon hearing the testimony of several experienced growers..and guess what..advanced is the SHIT...the only way to go...i have friends using this and that..and none of them can compete...just cant do it...sensizme is a enzyme for your plants..you use it every feeding along with carboload.carbohydrates for your plants..and the enzyme's feed on it too..the carbo load i use is in powder form...same with tarantula and pirana..you should see my roots after using voodoo juice..you only have to use it for the first two weeks..once you have a bennifical baceria colony set up all you have to do is add sensizyme..and some carbo load...my plants are beautiful ...with NO PROBLEMS..NONE....and i use iguana juice's as the main nute....the extra bud you get if you are cheap skates and dont want to afford the best for your girls...the extra growth will pay for your nutes...and the least expensive place to order advance nutes is...http://www.discountadvancednutrients.com/

..and the enzyme's feed on it too
enzymes dont feed cause its not an organism. they are usually proteins that accelerate certain proceses, in this case decomposing roots
thnaks for feedback, and you must be running a smaller garden cause it you put sensizyme every week for a large res, you'd be using 3-4 liters of it every run. ( im too lazy to check what it is approximitly)
i was thinking to cut back, use it on weeks 4 and 5 only, or something to that effect. But i dont know how effective that would be cause i dont know how much time they need

Definately buy a gallon of Sensizym, it's much cheaper in gallons, and that's how much you use.

I actually noticed a higher yield using the Iguana as a base nutrient, but less resin compared to the 2 part sensi bloom, or 3 part grow micro bloom.

I just checked my bottles I have for bloom, and my 2 part B gallon has had a pinhole leak in the bottom, only a liter was left in the bottle! So, I have a full gallon of part A, and a liter of part B...

I think it's a sign to get the conisseur... :bigjoint:

Oh, and these particular products are available in powder form.
Sensi One (base nute)
Carboload (also liquid)
Bud Blood (first week boost)
Big Bud (also in liquid)
Piranha (Fungal spores)
Tarantula (Bacterial colonies)

And Humic and Fulvic aid in nutrient uptake...

It is a very expensive regiment, that's why I'm trying out the Fox Farm, in comparison to a shortened Advanced line.

I was also thinking about trying the Hygrozyme, or comparable product to Sensizym, since it is the most expensive you can get... Trying to save some money, since I have to mix over 50 gal per feeding hydro, and another 50 for the soil.

Yeah, I bought a liter of it, it lasted a few years :o

I didn't notice much of a differance with or without, it's only used during veg, and the first week of flower, at a very low concentration, so a liter will take forever to use.

If they sell it in smaller abounts now, go for it, it's a Dr.Hornby product so I'm sure it does something :)

i was thinking the same thing..the doc has some great products..a litre of that bud blast is around 80 bucks..they are claiming it increases resin production and weight..ill probably give it a spin sooner or latter..

Damn, I had a liter that lasted 3 years, tons and tons of use... For 80 bucks they should make a small bottle for 10 or 15 that would last a harvest or two.

It stinks like ammonia and B vitamins, don't know what's in the stuff, but it made the plants a nice dark green, that I do remember.

The best poop apparently.

Yeah, Dr Hornby makes some great products that are plant specific, focused on resin production, and calyx boost.

BLASPHEMY... !!! he sure knows how it grows though..

Wow, you've never eaten it before?

It's a totally different experience, imo, and you can ingest a lot more into your system than by smoking. Make some hash, and eat it with something fatty, like chocolate. Or make some hash butter.

I used to make tons of caramels with hash infused, I also made a bunch of chocolates. It's super easy, just warm up the caramel, or chocolate in the microwave, not molten hot (be careful) and add the hash, stir, and seperate into bite size portions, or dip pretzels in it etc. You get the idea.

Or you could just go oldschool and dump a sack of reefer into a pan of brownie mix, that works to, just make sure to remove all the stems and bake at a lower temp, don't burn them.

Be careful though, or you'll put yourself to sleep for 12 hours or more ;)

My buddies dog ate one hash caramel and slept for 18 hours straight, got up a few times for water, and pissed herself in her sleep... I told him she had to have eaten more than one, and he swore it was just one. It's a black lab mix, like 50 pounds, a gram of hash put her out for a solid day. :?

--As far as Advanced being costly, I see it as an investment to allow Dr. Hornby and his team of genius do research, study and create better products.

Sure other companies are doing research, but Hornby is focused on thc% and resin production, not to mention taste, and yield.
