The stick-n-seal glue I used
did not work out.
I switched to JB weald,
to achieve a better seal.
I scrubbed the lid before application.
You can remove the sealing ring if you want,
the jar will remain in vacuum.
You don't really need the valve.
You can slide the suction cup of the pump
off of the hole,
and cover it with your finger,
then seal the hole
with some foil tape.
The budz can be vacuumed when they are cured,
or you can vacuum them early
and cure them later.
You will have to experiment with that,
and see which method works best for you.
I like to put them up a little moist,
and then let them dry a little more
if they need it,
before rolling.
