Just remember there are many more countries in the world suffering the effects of heat not cold. records? okay i will bite. tell me how your "scientific records" have accurate data for 1860 temps? we had barely even expanded into western US. but you expect us to believe that you KNOW what the temps were around the world? most south american countries didnt even have shoes in 1900 but hey, you know how hot it was there? come on get real dude.
next, tell me how accurate the thermometers were in 1860. according to most data, current merc thermometers have an accuracy of about point 1 degree plus or minus through a 0-100 reading.
you expect us to believe that a point 2 or 3 degree change over 160 years is to be believed? riiiiiiight.
lastly, tell us where we can access the original data for past years of temperatures? oh i forgot, YOUR FUCKING SCIENTIST THREW IT AWAY. no shit, they actually destroyed all the data that existed before 1980. but yes, the earth is going to be a half degree hotter in 50 years and you want me to PAY MORE FOR ENERGY to fix it.
ps the station i get my weather data from said tomorrows high will be 36 to 39. so in 24 hours the most accurate they can be is 3 degrees? and your data is accurate over 160 years and is accurate 50 years into the future? really? you must be smart. what an f'n joke
this hole thing is one big hoax pulled on the masses for money. disgraceful.

Well the tree rings have fallen into disripute since a reexamination of the methodology revealed that only certain rings were compiled, and the sample data was not sufficient to draw anything conclusive.
Further tree ring samplings revealed no serious warming at all.
Like I said, we need to reset and recalibrate everything to an agreed upon methodology in an OPEN scientific forum. So far, it has been anything but that ... it's all been driven by politics, and we all know where that ends up. In a very expensive garbage can 30 years later.

I meant that as a joke!
The Earth is cyclical and our impact is minimal. At this juncture we may be pushing/pulling in the wrong direction. We don't know near enough about the Earth's weather cycles to go around trying to manipulate levers of change. It's irresponsible.Can't you just tell he's thoroughly informed??
