Thanks superbub, hopefully mine end up looking a bit like your picture when flowering comes around.+rep for everyone whose been commenting on my stuff..... when do you guys think i should flower im at almost 6 weeks veg, you cant really see but all the new growth is forming from the bottom now, im up to about 6-8 tops on each plant now.

You can go ahead and start flowering now if you like u have around 15 days of 12/12 before flowering really starts and ur going to see the plant triple in size then about 6 or more weeks till harvest but its up too you and the space u have

Really depends on your space.and they will dbl. To triple in size. Btw-im sub'd! Figured it out. Wasnt even hard!

well thanks goes out to the both of you, since im fairly new to this still, im learning something everyday and keeping an open mind about everything, i think ill wait a bit more, just untill i buy a timer and bigger bulbs. is this a good idea?

Id keep in mind cfls dont penatrate deep- veg to tall, you wont get light to the lower stuff. I vegd to 15" tied all tops down&flowerd. Im impressed with the results so far!

GC you have a nice looking grow going on. I would start using some LST personally to keep your height in check. I can only go by what folks on the site have said about 2x-3x growth when switching to 12/12 light cycles as i am on my very first grow also. You have a lot to work with and doing so will open up your plants to more light. I am totally down with Kotton's comment on cfl light penetration. Thats why I have kept my lights so close the whole grow and it has also kept node spacing and plant height down because she didnt have to stretch to get light. Hope you dont mind but heres a few pics of my girl at day 29. You may be able to see the dark green plant wire ties i am using to LST her.

She is a short little one but she has flower sights coming out all over. She goes into 12/12 next week. If you look very closely at the second and fourth pictures you can see where she lost her head..lol. Right in the center

wow! I like the way you both(g.cheese& arch)hung your lights! Arch,ur plants look great also! I got my cfl's on a straight bar between 2 4ft t12's.good job guys. Arch- are we in the 420 group together?

thanks arch! that helps a lot. Your girl looks very nice , yeah like you said i do have a bit to work with, i started my plants raised on a bunch of random crap lol, and i can still lower the taller one about an inch and the shorter one abut 3 inches, im grabbing some more cfl's i think, after i pick up a timer. And to be honest im a bit scared to LST as ive never done so before. but anything to keep them low, i think i may be able to raise my lights about a foot if shit get extreme lol. happy grow

Lol kotton if only you saw my lights in person, its quite the ghetto contraption, if you dont mind me asking how many cfls are you using? i was thinking about hooking up a T5 with my setup but it was to much work with a broken ballast and what not...

ive got 4 4ft 40w t12 & 6 23w cfls. Workin very well too. Im tryin to get pics out there. Im very proud of my grow! G/luck man!ur kikn arse!

UPDATE: So i was watering my plants and decided to look at the bottom of the pots and noticed little roots coming through the holes, looks like its time to transplant again. its amazing how strong/fast these roots are growing, what do you guys think my next pot size should be, they're currently in 1.58 gallon pots and have only been there for 2 and a half weeks of their life, so let me know. im going out to get some bigger bulbs to replace the 13 watter's today and a maybe a timer (if i can find a cheap one) i didnt realize that they were a bit pricey on a very low budget.
