All Miracle Grow CFL Bagseed Grow. (1st grow)

MIRACLE GROW GOOD OR BAD?

Whats up yall. I'm getting started soon. Weighing options of using a lot of cheap CFL's or to go big and get an L.E.D.
Kottonmouth- I considered using 2 shop light T8 4 tubes total. And grabbing a rail with 4 sockets and putting Y's in to total 8 CFL's. If I wanted to do the grow this way I can just get everything I need from Home Depot. I want to use 3 gallon pots too because I dont wanna transplant but once after they out grow the solo cups. I am planning on growing 4 Autos total in a 2x4x5' space. Any feedback?

Bout to start a journal myself, currently using cfls, miracle grow perlite and miracle grow food, with a bubble setup.
same as my last grow except this time I'm playing with LST and I have to say everyone should be doing this!!
It's nothing to be afraid of. I was weary at first, but there's nothing to it and the plants absolutely love it.

wudup! Sounds like we got very similar setups.lets not hi jack g/cheeses thread,start a thread& lets compare.you'll get feedback that way.

Yall look like youve done well with your CFL's, I'm thinking Ill just use the one I have already for sprouting and rooting

Hey g/c-did u find the book i was tellin' ya about? Or maybe a link to the cloning section?if mine make it, my god that was easy! Hows the mg working for ya? Any problems w/burning?my outdoor burned to hell during flowering w/mg,which is why i ask.

Hey kotton, no i c9uldnt find anything and now that all these buds are coming in i dont think i could put a pair of scizzors to em no anyhow lol they are to pretty, as for miracla grow, there were a few burns here and there but that was due to inexperience and lack of knowledge but now that i understand whats going on i apply different amounts of the same mg nutes to either plants as they are different strains but i allways dilute to ATLEAST 3/4 of what mg says to use, but i end up giving them random doses when it looks they need more/less, for example, about a week ago my plants were do for a water/feeding so i gave them both a 50% diluted dose of mg bloom and a few days ago i noticed a slight nitrogen deficiency on the more indica plant so when i feed next she will get a slightly higher dosage.. p.s. next grow im going organic!..... maybe just the soil not to sure yet, will have an update later on tonight with pics of my big budsites.

this is the 3rd time ive typed this 1st safari quit on me 2nd i disconnected for whatever reason as i was uploading pics, anyways in short version: i found some flying gnats or something and im getting some shit tommorow from walmart, also getting different form of miracle grow food thats higher in nitrogen as i noticed they are looking a bit nitrogen deficient,

THANK YOU thats what ive been saying all along, if it could do this for a first timer imagine somebody uing this with real skill and knowledge, im thinking it could almost be par with things like botincare, but im not sure as quality of bud goes... yet

I used it with success up till this point. The biggest issue that may cause trouble is over doing nutes. MG doesnt require much for nutes initially. Its good for the grower that wants to keep it simple. I am still going to try and use other grow materials and see what I can do. Usign those that do not have any added nutes will allow me to cook up my own nutrients formulas using guidelines of course.

Best of luck to you on the Miracle Grow. Myself, I would not let that Shit inside my house. I have known to many people that got infested with different kinds of bugs from that stuff. It is not stored correctly most of the time and gets infested with all kinds of different bug eggs. I always said it is called Miracle Grow because it is a Miracle if anything grows in that crap. I had a friend once have his wife go to Wally World to buy him 3 bags of that stuff, when he went to put it in the pots he had three frozen blocks of ICE, a week later and they still had not thaw'd all the way. I laughed my ass off. But I have known some people that have grown some huge Dank ass buds in it also.
I am not a good person to take advice about it though. I stopped useing soil years ago. I use Canna Coco. This stuff is about impossible to screw up. I bet a could train a monkey to grow my crops for me in this stuff. It is about impossible to over water, and has all the benefits of Soil. Plus you can use this stuff over and over. I even had a friend that once had Gnats that layed eggs in the stuff. When he harvested, he removed most of the roots, and then flushed the Coco with double strength Cannazyme, He let it sit for a week, then flushed it again with boiling hot water to kill the eggs. I told him, What the Fook?? Boiling hot water? You just destroyed the coco. He then replied. What the hell is in the Coco that will be destroyed by Hot water? There are no Enzyme or anything alive in it when it is produced, You build that stuff up when you start growing. So what? I am starting over.

Anyway.. GO CANNA COCO!!!!!!!!! hahaha
