MIRACLE GROW GOOD OR BAD?

Best of luck to you on the Miracle Grow. Myself, I would not let that Shit inside my house. I have known to many people that got infested with different kinds of bugs from that stuff. It is not stored correctly most of the time and gets infested with all kinds of different bug eggs. I always said it is called Miracle Grow because it is a Miracle if anything grows in that crap. I had a friend once have his wife go to Wally World to buy him 3 bags of that stuff, when he went to put it in the pots he had three frozen blocks of ICE, a week later and they still had not thaw'd all the way. I laughed my ass off. But I have known some people that have grown some huge Dank ass buds in it also.
I am not a good person to take advice about it though. I stopped useing soil years ago. I use Canna Coco. This stuff is about impossible to screw up. I bet a could train a monkey to grow my crops for me in this stuff. It is about impossible to over water, and has all the benefits of Soil. Plus you can use this stuff over and over. I even had a friend that once had Gnats that layed eggs in the stuff. When he harvested, he removed most of the roots, and then flushed the Coco with double strength Cannazyme, He let it sit for a week, then flushed it again with boiling hot water to kill the eggs. I told him, What the Fook?? Boiling hot water? You just destroyed the coco. He then replied. What the hell is in the Coco that will be destroyed by Hot water? There are no Enzyme or anything alive in it when it is produced, You build that stuff up when you start growing. So what? I am starting over.

Anyway.. GO CANNA COCO!!!!!!!!! hahaha

I know what your saying and for my nextgrow ill deffinately be going to coco but due to low funds and being in a rural area it is diffucult to find good resources , i mean if my girls were suffering id go out of my way to do everything i could to give them the best environment but as far this grow goes im happy with how miracle grow has performed for me, i realy have no complaints, as for bugs, i havent seen any significant sign of any bugs other than a total of for flyin little fuckers but thats sdue to living in a 100 year old house thats infested with more thing than you can think of but my lady bugs seem to be kicking the shit out of those fuckers now anyhow..anyways my next grow will probably contain mg in one way or the other because like i said before i havent noticed any significant problems, then again this is my first grow and i dont know to much, but things can only get better i hope....sory for the long ass rant but i get deffensive about my $150 miracle grow bagseed operation as im now living somewhere outside of where i can just go out and buy some weed , ive lost all connections and this is my only source for bud... it has to work, the last time i smoked dsomething was new years so you can imagine how stressfull this may be to keep these girls going without any set backs or them getting sick or dieng, i mean i spend 3 hours a day making sure ive given them the best environment i possibly can in the situation im in. I was soo god damn happy when i learned they were both female it was honestly like a christmas preswnt to myself, again sorry for going on a rant

Hey GrilledCheese. Most all of us totally understand what you are talking about. When i first started to grow, i went two years with out smoking any, because I am not going to go searching at some bar for weed from people i do not even know. And most of the people I knew back then were People wearing suits. I know on my first few crops, I could not stop from going in to look and pampering my ladies. But a little Warning, I think most people that fail in their first attempts do it because they over love the plants.
If you switch out to Coco someday. Do not buy that crappy pressed Coco that comes in Bails. That stuff is cheap because the product is produced in a cheap way. Coco has to be soaked in water for 6 months before they start the process, and the cheaper shit is soaked in Sea water because it is more cost effective. And other things on down the line. If you buy a good quaility Coco like Canna or Botanicare you can use it over and over. I have used it up to 5 times.
Best wishes on your harvest, I hope it turns out to be a good one.
One of these days I will put out a thread that will have a bunch of videos that show the process of how good quality coco is made, how to use it and why Coco specific nutrients work better. Coco Specific Nutrients are a little more costly, but you use way less of it, so it last a lot longer. So in the long run it is cheaper in my book. Like Pure Blend Pro. You use 30 ML/gallon. With Canna Coco you use 4-6ML/gallon they say more then that but most strains only need 4-5 ML/gln, a strain that loves to drink heavy nuts will be 6 ml/gln

Daaaamn!new years eve brah?! Makes me wanna send u somethin' to smoke brother!lol anyways,if mg worx for you,you use what worx. Itsa no brainer.dont fix w/isnt broke, just cuz others have badluck w/it.

This has been worth reading through all 13 pages. I have no choice right now but to use miracle grow so its nice to see and example of it working nicely. Subb'd and +rep cheese.

Wyte is right. Most problems w/mg is over ferting.thats my prob w/it. I like mg as long as i let the soil do the feeding.soon as i also feed,i burn it.

wel thank you all for even considering commenting on my thread if it wasnt for RIU I would have failed, and technicaly this isnt my first grow i had 4 seedlings back in the summer that i gave to much attention to with no knowledge of what i was doing (AT ALL) and killed them before reaching the vegging stage, so technicaly that was my first and this is my second, or first that actually worked for me so i know what you mean lord dangly when you said most first timers kill their plants, any how i should have an update by tommorow and thank you all again

IM GOING TO TRY CLONING AGAIN!!!!!

I have purchased 2 different cloning agents 1 powder 1 gel, i will be doing this grow (if succesfull) in coco and i have a dome and everything ready, my clones will be the very late blooming shoots in the bottom vacinity of my big girl as i topped them and they arent showing their pistols yet although they are obviously female here are some pictures :..... i will be starting a new thread to attract more people to lend me their knowledge on this

yeah i had too cause ive only got enough light to spread across 1 10 inch pot on 24 hours since the other 325 watts is being devoted to my girls on 12/12 in flowering right now, will have pics tommorow to tired tonight lol

Not a good idea at all to put more then one plant per pot. And you do not need 5 gallon pots. I grow pretty good sized plantsa in half that size. Start out with 16 ounce beer cups. repoting is simple and easy with out stressing the plants at all from the cups. Just turn it upside down and give the cup a little pat. If you have them all in one pot and one get sick, they all get sick. or if some are male you will have trouble.

thanks for the reply and im allways up for criticism but like i had said earlyer i dont realy have enough light to spread across 4 seperate pots at the moment, and im only realy planning on keeping 2 out of the 4 clones any how, and as soon as i see they have sunk their roots into the coco i will be repotting the 1 into its own 1.75 gallon pot and removing the other 2 from the pot they began in, leaving 2 clones each in their own 1.75 gallon pot full of coco, no clone can turn male so im not worried about that, and as for getting sick i like to keep shit clean and i am checking on them every 2 hours at the moment so i cant see that happening,

UPDATE:::

CLONES+BUD PORN

my clones are still looking quite healthy and im spraying them with water mixed with fungicides every 4 hours, they are nice and lush while also very sturdy still, the dome is keeping them nice and humid and i have them on top of my heat register keeping them at a healthy 75-85 degrees the buds are getting nice and fat while now i am beggining to notice some nice sugar leaves , they are getting frosty!!

ps never buy a "woods" timer they are junk and i have gone through 2 of them and now on my 3rd timer, i am now using a timer from "GE" (GENERAL ELECTRONICS) and theres also a picture on what im using to kill any bugs that may be in my grow area, (i ahvent seen any in about a week now)
