When they raise the price of Prime from 99 dollars to 119 dollars per year in a month or so, I'll remember you said that.
+rep

and that's where you say 'nyet'..i did Prime once when it was newly offered..maybe it's changed but i didn't find enough use for it to make-up for the fee to 'belong'.

all we did was shame that POS bezos into taking that new tax cut money and spread the wealth.

temps? = part time = no benefits..if they pay a temp $15 what will they be paying the temp company?

In a way, it must be kind of cool being in a cult. Such focus.
The kind of statement only a moron would make.

Again, if you really think that Jeff Bezos would have done this on his own, you're beyond delusional. If you think for one second he's going to let it last, you're a complete idiot. He'll wait a month or a couple of months for all the hoopla to settle down, then he'll quietly cut down the work force and jack the prices on prime to make that money back.

That's the thing about greedy people: they simply can not stand to EVER not take EVERYTHING they possibly can. That he's the richest man on earth isn't enough. It'll never be enough. Ever.

That's why he, like the other billionaires, was hell bent on keeping all that money from the tax breaks from the outset.

And when he starts doing that to claw all that money back, which will prove beyond all doubt that Bernie was right, you'll still make up some half-assed excuse and insults not because you were proven wrong, but because for some strange reason you just can't stand to ever admit that Bernie actually made a difference at one point.

Still worth it and hell of a lot more benefits than my Sirius account.
They want 200.00 just to listen to music, news and other bullshit. If I can't talk them down back to my 100. dollars for the year ...fuck Sirius Satellite Radio

I'm curious to see what will happen. It's odd that you would respond to what I said with this comment though. I never suggested that Prime Membership would go down in cost. In fact, I'm under the impression that the cost of a Prime Membership is set based on demand for the service. What I said, before that pig Schuytard was so impressed with your nonsequitur was that the company would be more profitable.

Your challenge is very much acceptable to me though, with the above caveat. The price of Prime is not the guage, the share price is. Paying workers a living wage won't break a company. It will strengthen it. That is actually the very core principle of progressive economic policy in a liberal democracy. So let's talk about it again in a couple of months.

If not for Bernie and that entire campaign of mobilizing workers agaisnt him, Bezos would never have done a damn thing.
Bernard didn't even pay his campaign staffers $15 per hour. Bezos did it even though he never promised America he'd raise the minimum wage to $15. When people see that this doesn't hurt business, he will have accomplished much more progress than Bernard. Bernard should follow Jeff Bezos' example by paying the people who work for him a living wage, even though it is not a legal obligation to do so.

That's because they volunteer. Freaking duh.

Actually, yes he did. He was one of many that SAID he'd use the money to hire and pay people more, but he like all the others reneged on that promise and pocketed the money.

First off, idiot, Amazon stock took a hit the instant the deal was announced:

View attachment 4209674

Secondly, people like you crack me up. You hate somebody so much that you'll make the most ridiculous claims, spew complete, total and utter bullshit and make yourself look like a patent idiot rather than simply admit that Bernie did something.

Thirdly, you criticise him for using volunteer staffers like everybody else does including the richest sport on earth, the Super Bowl. A sporting event that sells advertising at 5 million dollars for 30 seconds has to ask for volunteers.

You're a fucking moron.
This would be cool and the insults would be funny if any part of it were true. The problem is that you just pull bs out of nowhere like the volunteer thing. If they were volunteers, why pay them at all? Or like how you somehow pulled Bezos promising to raise the federal minimum wage from anything he ever said. Then you pointed out that the market reacted out of fear within moments of an announcement. Not only do you gloss over an argument and fail utterly to grasp it, you completely fabricate premises, and then top it off with a complete meltdown of ttystikk proportions just because someone doesn't worship your savior Bernard the shit stain. To think that I gave you the benefit of the doubt even after your ardent defense of Putin and the greatness of Russia the other day...

Read the thread so that you can know what is going on, cultist. All of this has been covered and you just look like another dumbass screaming "GIVE US BERNIE OR WE'LL GIVE YOU TRUMP". Bernard paid staffers and interns less than $15 per hour while campaigning on a promise to raise the minimum wage to $15. I promise you, he is the only person who has ever done this The NFL never did. Jeff Bezos never did. FFS, Bezos only owns %16 of Amazon, do you really think he micromanages it? If so you're going to have to put me on ignore comrade you’re my new project.

This will make Amazon better and more profitable so that whole argument about how Jeff Bezos is only doing this to avoid criticism is going to fall flat. Amazon does what is best for Amazon because that is what benefits shareholders. This is going to benefit the shareholders. It has absolutely nothing to do with Bernard Sanders or his asinine cult of mouth breathing (and often completely racist) followers. Amazon pays its employees more than it is legally obligated to pay them because ultimately that will make it a better and yes, even more profitable company.
bezos figured out it's hard to generate revenue without employees, is what happened..people stopped showing, then they have to get temps which are quite costly and an interruption in business because they don't know what they're doing- they're temps. this makes your customers mad and they go elsewhere.

of everything..cost, quality, speed and accuracy..accuracy is always number one to customers and sadly our millenials are laid back, into perfection- our thinkers; z gen our little multi-taskers? they can't do accuracy with their speed..so willing to please and yet so wrong ALL THE TIME..which they want you to go with and can't understand why you wish accuracy..isn't speed enough? 'ummmmmmmm, that's not what i ordered..could you please re-make?' this is where they look down make their eyes really big and start the rolling while they say 'ewwwwwwwwwwwwkay'..because now your bothering them with a completed task even though it's not what you wanted and/or paid for..customers have a choice..if you don't take care of them someone else will..when it's a sandwich shop with no customers inside at noon? maybe it's you and not the 'demanding' customer who made you make the $13 (with 2 pieces of meat) sandwich the correct way.

i'm still pissed at jimmy johns and will NEVER go to this shop again.
