first of all, your repeated attempt to deflect to some strom thurmond theory is not the issue here. you cannot refute that the south used to be democrat territory, and by large margins. now it belongs to the republicans, ever since that civil rights bill passed. the one that would just make you hate 'em more if you had to serve purples.
second, strom thurmond was not the only person to ever change sides. jesse helms was an avowed opponent of civil rights, like you. and he switched from democrat/dixiecrat to republican. some went the other way, like robert byrd. byrd hated his racist past, so he renounced it, voted yes on civil rights, became a democrat, and earned a 100% NAACP rating. his tale was a tale of redemption.
so you are just plainly false on all counts and an abject moron.
when someone denies basic history like you do, it opens the door to deny events like the holocaust, which i have no doubt that you do.

i don't know who regan is, but i do know that what "the rest of the country" does is unique whereas the south showed a habit.
this is basic history. you are mentally ill, and you enable holocaust denial.
for 20 elections in a row dating from reconstruction to civil rights, the south was almost 100% democrat. then, once civil rights passed, the south voted for goldwater. then they voted for the racial segregationist george wallace. then they voted for nixon. then reagan. then bush, and dole, and bush again, and mccain, and romney, and trump.
please tell me more about your strom thurmond theory, which contradicts the republican and racial segregation voting habits of the south for the last 50 years, civil rights hater.

So once the Republicans passed civil rights, they were infiltrated at the Goldwater election by Democrat Strom Thurmond, sticking with that?
