My 1st wife was a gold digger , I bought her a Corvette & she wasn't happy because it wasn't a Porsche , she left me ( Bitch ) .
My 2nd & current wife of 40 yrs is 100% different , on our 20th anniversary I bought her a Platinum ladies Rolex which she tried to take back because it cost too much.
For our 30th I bought her a string of pearls & hung them on the visor of an 2005 Jaguar Xkr coupe I also bought her , she wears the pearls but the car's too flashy & powerfull , she put less than 3,000 miles on the car & drove her PT Cruiser instead , I've gave her $5 grand wads to go shopping for herself & she spends chump change & brings home the rest , or buys stuff for everybody else , I can't get her to spend money & the older we get the less she'll spend .

Lol the new iPhone I can relate to! My bf has been trying to fix the screen or get me a new one and I won't let him.
I took my dads Jag though after he died. Nice drive but a gas guzzler!
I instigate the shopping trips like money is burning a hole in my pocket but fair enough I've got the money and bf now has a new wardrobe. I've been extravagant recently but think I deserve it from my hard work.
I don't know. I tell my girlfriends that the best way to get a rich bf is to make YOUR own money. Unfortunately so many women are searching for a meal ticket.
This place is full of non EU passport whores and gold diggers. Tbh though I can't think of many women here who earn really good money. Theres a politician and she is part owner in a club so she had done well. Most have standard jobs like English teachers or call centers.

I've got a heavy foot yes! It was a newish X Type. Very nice smooth drive and excellent on the motorway. They look cheap in Germany but servicing and parts would be a lot wouldn't they?
I think Vodafone owe me a new iPhone due to the points I've accumulated.

You sound alot like my wife lol, she's the brains of our family with 2 masters degrees & i use my fingers & toes to count to 10 , all my co-workers thought she was a gold digger & using me as her meal ticket to the USA when i met her , 40 yrs later their all divorced drunks & were still together , she made a small fortune of her own from working & she still has most of it aside form the 10% she gives to charities , she's a Muslim so she must give .
I dont blame you on splurging on shopping trips , thats what money is for , spend it while your young enough to enjoy it & if your man is good to you spend it on him too , have fun with it you earned it .
If you take your dads Jag to the shop & have the limiter taken off it'll go much faster , Jaguar is notorious for putting limiters on high hp models.

See you guys? These men not only love their women, they adore, admire, cherish, and respect them as friends. I've been with Mr. Hooka for almost 25 years. And I can echo these men's statements and then some. I have a "keeper" b/c I behave like a keeper myself. You get what you give in this life.
@2paranoid It's a little bit of luck, sure, but most of it, in all seriousness is a knowledge of yourself first. If all you are looking for is someone to fill a void, then you'll continue to hook up with women who will use you to fill a void and you're both using each other. You want someone to complement you, not complete you. I don't know how old you are, but don't settle down before 30. Until then, don't settle for skanky, money grubber chicks either. If you want quality, you've got to go after it. But you've also got to be honest with yourself and ask yourself what kind of woman you want and why.
My husband and I were friends for two years first and we came to really trust one another as human beings, without all the hook up bullshit in the way, so when it did finally happen, we knew each other completely. There are a lot of shitty PEOPLE out there, men AND women. Stay clear of the gold diggers etc. You'll find someone worth it, and when you do it will be MOST awesome.
