Autoflowers not flowering

Hey guys, so i have 5 “autoflowers” (quotations because they have sprouted from seed since 07/09) that are pretty much doing nothing but getting almost too huge for my tent. Just vegging and wont flower. 2 are northern lights autos and 3 violet kush og autos. One has at least gone into preflower. It has pistils everywhere but now a month after the first hair still no buds (first hair sprouted aug 11) the others after 9 days on a 12/12 light schedule seem like maybe they might be showing signs. HELP!! Im pushing Flower Nutes 2 ml of cal mag. 2 ml of micro. .5 of grow and 4ml bloom. 2 are in coco/perlite mix fed and watered once every other day 1 gallon and the other three soil. Watered/fed every 3 days. Same amounts. Flush every other week. Under a 1000 w led.

they are definitely flowering, I suspect not enough light to really blow up, only because you said 1000w led and I’m guessing the manufacturer of the light advertised 1000w, and usually that’s bs if they do that. Look at actual wattage draw of the light. if it’s legitimately at around 450-600 watts put it closer. kind of a wild guess, only going off 1000w description and pictures. If I’m wrong I’ll feel like a moron for no less than 8min.

#1 pic looks to be flowering.. Otherwise, some autos do need a reduction in daylight hours to start flowering

In the meantime, you could put that light directly over the one that is flowering at like 6-10 inches, and push the other plants (that are basically in veg still) as close as possible around the flowering plant with the light over it, until you get more watts on em or flower em one at a time as a last ditch effort.

Damn sorry to hear your situation, it looks like you got hoodwinked.

They most likely don't have the autoflower trait. One looks like it is budding. The other looks like its just sexually mature and showing its a female.

Where did you get the seeds? It looks like they didn't fully breed the autoflower genetic into the seeds. They most likely mixed an auto fem with a female photo and thought it would be all auto fems the first try.

Amazon sellers have been known for greatly over exaggerating the strength of their lights. They are really hurting the LED industry by upsetting customers through outright lying. The same way people that don't know the first thing on how to run machine trimmers put machine trimming videos on youtube and end up with shit product, hurting the trimmer industry.

so i got the seeds from Grey Beard seeds bank. The violet kush are bred from Garden of green. And you’re making total sense. Is there a site you recommend for lights or is amazon okay just do research?

Non auto auto's arent really that uncommon. See them here pretty frequently. Trying to get autos to grow slower and yield bigger probably has something to do with it, along with not testing the beans very thoroughly before offering them for sale

#1 issue.. is the 100W led over 5 plants. Those plants would need light to come down from heaven to finish flowering by the breeders specs.

Likely not 1000w if its an amazon led, and plant count has nothing to do with it. I have no problem with 2 plants under 150w of led

2nd pic looks like you topped it. Something I don't think is a great thing to do growing auto's. It could be stunted.. or could actually not be an auto as previously stated.

I did. This is my second grow so i was trying somethings on some and not on others. This one is getting really huge so i felt like I’ll give topping a try and if it stunts out thats not so bad because im running out of space.

I only purchased and LED for my veg tent, you are best checking out the LED threads on what works for other people like Boatguy suggested. I know Nextlight and HLG are high quality LEDs that really produce, they are a little pricier. You get what you pay for.

As a rule of thumb, if they claim 1000w, look it up or ask them if its actually 1000w. If you see some hidden disclaimer or any proof that they are exaggerating the power of it, don't buy it. If they have to be that dishonest to make a sale they are not worth giving business to.

Did you let the seed bank know? If they get enough complaints on a breeder they will investigate or drop the breeder so it doesn't keep damaging their business.
