Bagseed. First grow attempt

Ok.. I know i uploaded pictures the other day but oh well. Here are two more pictures. And in the one, my fist is in the bottom of the screen for somewhat of a comparison for size.

By the way. Im moving her into my dorm room tomorrow morning. Im pretty nervous about this. Cause I have to stick her in a bag and she'll be without light for probably 5 hours at most Im hoping. I really hope she doesn't get shocked too much if at all from the lack of light and the drastic change in the lighting cycle. Any suggestions on how to prevent shock or anything? And she looking alright?

Oh, another thing. This hasn't turned out to be a bad thing and I was noticing it. Just curious as to why pretty much. Ive noticed. Leaves overlap other leaves. And on the leaf underneath, there's all this water/condensation. The humidity you think? Or i dont even know. Just thought it was a little weird but nothing to worry about

Ok. So i successfully moved jill into my room and set up an area below my desk. She's looking pretty good and I dont think she was too shocked, if at all, by the light change or the move. However I did notice I broke like half a leaf off :/. Oops, but no biggy. Yeah, so Im definitely gonna LST the shit out of her since I have so little room to work with, both with her and the lights.

Perfect size for a car visor to be stood-up around it for Maximum reflection of light on plant = growth increase .

Yeah I was actually thinking about getting one of those car visor things to both reflect and block off some light but actually, and this is really funny and ghetto as shit. We already ate a good amount of chips, so i just cut the inside of the bags out and taped them to the board. But ill actually look into that visor thing. see if I can find one, and cheap

Here's an update on Jill. She's been growing a lot each day which is amazing. But she also stinks like hell. haha. I guess it's cause I've been trying different LST ways to bend her so she feels threatened cause when she sat there for a while with no interaction, she didn't stink at all. Ok so here are pictures of her and the grow area and then back of the white board with chip bags taped up to it for a ghetto reflector. I think I may flower her in a few weeks cause I kinda just wanna get her done for both spring break and to get her out of the room and not have the constant worrying about the smell but other than that its fun to see her grow and take care of her. I love this LST by the way and how shes short but bushy beyond belief. Definitely gonna do this for my second grow... may try topping on that one too

Ok so Jill has been growing tremendously the past few days and she's huge. This LST really works wonders.

Even though she's still fairly young, like 6 or 7 weeks into veg, Im going to throw her into flower to get her done with.. sadly. This has been so much fun. I'm going to test out a flowering method that I though of last night. Nature slowly reduces the light cycle every day so Im going to do the same. But instead of minutes, Ill reduce the light cycle by an hour each day, therefore hopefully not stressing her too much with the drastic switch to 12/12. We'll see how that goes, unless anyone out there knows of better ways to throw into flowering or has tested this and not found anything beneficial.

Ok so I threw her into flower on the 26th. Hopefully Ill start seeing some popcorn buds to reassure myself. But she's stretching a little every night so that could be a good sign. I LST'ed some of the long branches again but I havent taken a picture yet. Maybe monday. But here are pictures from yesterday. One of the closet she's in and you can see the ghetto chip bags , then one from the side and the top

Ok, so its been a week since she's been in flowering, and I guess Im impatient since this is my first grow but I really wanna see these buds starting to form. Like ill be really happy when I start seeing some popcorn buds. But she's looking great. Really green and bushy.. Ill put some pictures up in a bit. Oh and it's definitely a girl which is a great sign. So now i play the waiting game as she grows on her own...

So I see the little white hairs and somewhat little popcorn buds starting to grow.. Im excited. Sorry the one picture of the little popcorn bud site is blurry, but have to take the pictures on my phone. But tell me what you think

So this is an update on Jill at the end of week 2. Sorry about the blurry pictures on the buds but it's from my phone. Otherwise, I think she's looking pretty good, and the buds have nice hairs growing everywhere


Tell me what you guys think.. and this is the magic of LST. After I harvest her, ill take pictures of the stem for everyone to see.. see how the nodes grow everywhere.. its insane way down in there

Hopefully all the nugs inside grow alright, they cant really get enough light cuz its so bushy

it's not the buds that absorb light, it's the leaves
