Bagseed. First grow attempt

So... I have a big problem. The leaves were fine this morning, fairly perky and everything but now after I came back from classes, they are extremely droopy. Like the leaves are flimsy and just hanging down as if they gave up on life. haha. the soil was really dry, so I watered it, but I'm thinking it may possibly be root bound instead of a watering problem? So Im gonna try to get a new pot and more soil but I dont know if I can... Im not sure. Any feed back?

Just make your 6 hours when your sleeping for now until you get the light leak in control. Check out my grow journal about the same setup for my seedlings and for a short veg cycle and have a bigger flowering room in construction.

Yeah I'll see if I can get some pictures up soon.. I watered it and theyre looking slightly better but still droopy, so I think it is root bound. My friend is getting her car fixed, so I'll go out and buy another container and soil when that happens.. hopefully it'll be quick, cause i need to move her over asap unless I'm wrong and she's fine....

Rookie: Yeah thanks dude I did have the 6 hours when I slept, but I'm way past that part. Im in 3rd week flowering now and a different set up in a different place.

Ok well she perked up after I watered her. So she's looking good now. Buds are growing fairly nicely, wish they would grow faster though.. I'm impatient. Also, question for anyone. On some of the buds, some of the hairs are a little red near the base of them. Is that a problem? Ill get some pictures up soon of the buds

Ok. Today started week 4 of flowering. The buds are pretty small, im hoping theyll fluff out in the future but I wasn't really expecting a huge yield for this first grow. but she's looking pretty good, ill have to admit. I'm actually thinking about making a clone of her cause how well she's growing and how tolerant she's been. This seems to be a pretty nice strain, whatever it is.

How far into flower does it take to see some frosting on the leaves and bud? they look a little shinny/hairy, but I dont have a microscope to look closer

No answers? Well they're starting to look kinda frosty . I really think that if I had a bigger pot to grow in that these buds would be so much bigger and frostier by now but oh well.

Just a few minutes ago I cut the top off one of the buds to try it out and see if that would make much of a difference in it's grow. Im gonna keep an eye on that bud especially to see if it'll frost up and grow quicker.

Alright so a quick update. Yesterday was beginning of week 5 of flowering. The leaves are getting a little frostier which is good to see. I wonder how long she'll have to be in flower.. cause I'm ending this soon regardless... and sadly. So Jill's lower leaves are dying and it's mainly the bud sites that only have green leaves now. The buds are growing, but slowly. All of these problems are most likely cause of such a small pot she's growing in, so she's root bound, and I think there may still be some nutes in the miracle grow soil. Still interested to see how she turns out. Im thinking, end of next week is when Im gonna have to harvest her, but Ill try to have her grow longer

Yeah Cane' Ill try and get some pictures up soon. But I don't think my phone will take that good of pictures to show the frosting.

Alright.. so its been a while. But I'm here. Just starting out by saying that Jill's leaves aren't so pretty... theyre dying, however, this is 6th week of flower and her buds are looking realy nice. They're pretty frosty now and the hairs are turning amber colored. So I'm thinking about another week or so till I harvest and she'll be pretty much ready... I know it's cutting her short, but oh well :/

ok so I'm harvesting tomorrow morning.. I'm thinking maybe after an hour of the lights coming on, or maybe when they would normally come on. Idk, guess we'll find out. But ill take pictures of everything. before and after of all of Jill, the buds, the stem and the affects of LST and whatnot.

Alright, so like two days later in harvest than I said before but I was letting it mature that little bit longer. Cut and trimmed this morning and now the buds are curing.. Can't wait to smoke her!

I have to say. It was really fun growing for the first time. Definitely a good learning experience. This whole grow was under a few CFL's, in one pot of miracle grow soil for 3 months and no nutes and she turned out pretty well.... aside from the being root bound part, or else Jill here would have been huge.... woulda been really nice to clone her.. This strain, only god knows what it is cause it's bagseed, grew really well.

Here are some pictures or the whole thing before I cut her, and the main cola after cutting other colas and the harvest results

For my next grow in the summer, I think Im gonna order and treat myself to some beautiful northern lights... Ill probably start that in May or so.. But please, feel free to leave and comments on the whole grow here.

Here's some pictures of my LST to Jill... This worked so amazingly well... I think this is the true meaning of LST.. colas really did grow from everywhere. I tied down the main stem and as it grew further, I tied that end down and that grew further and so on. Then the branches I also tied down somewhat and this worked wonders.
