No, I definitely wasn't impatient in harvesting it. I really do wish I could have let it grow longer but here's the reason's I cut it now and not later: 1) I was constantly moving it around to new set ups, 2) I had it in my dorm room and didn't really wanna keep taking my chances, 3) I didn't have a bigger pot, so it was only in a quart sized pot. Also, I took the stem and roots out of the pot yesterday; there were roots on roots on roots. The roots had taking shape to every little indent on the pot. It was sooo rootbound it was unbelievable. I really wish I had taking a picture of it. 4) Its spring break and I go back today and I really don't wanna try to sneak it back in
Basically I was confined with space from moving it to different places and I couldn't transfer pots so I knew it wouldn't really get any bigger. All the leaves were really dying off from it being rootbound. And plus, it was a first, mainly experimental grow, turned out a lot better than planned and I definitely know a lot of what to do and what not to do for my next grow.
Ill get back to you on the weight though
But my grow this summer will be so much better. I'm sticking with LST since that worked like a charm, might trying topping it, and Im gonna get a 5 gallon pot. and 6 cfl's will work for a good amount of time for it but ill be getting more cfls and a 65w cfl too to place over top. Ill have 65 over it and have other cfl's to the sides lower down going all the way around it
