I do like my IPA. Lol. That is Strong! I like the label.
Not fair reallyThere seems to be a ressurgence of IPA's in the Pacific Northwest and I'm not complaining. It does take me longer to decide what to buy though as I want to try everything. Lots of beers from smaller breweries. Some better than others but all better than Budweiser. It's a great time if you like IPA's which I do and drink exclusively and have for decades.
Yeah a good lager will be harder to come by. Same thing with a decent Pilsner which I'll drink in the summer if you can find one.Not fair really
As a lager aficionado
They are so few lagers I’m lucky if the local breweries have two
Yeah some IPA's can be a little too hard core for some and I can understand. Keeps people from drinking my beer though as many of my friends don't like IPA's either. I usually have a six pack of Coors Light on hand for company. In fact there's a couple cans in the back of the refrigerator right now that have been there for months. I'm not drinking them that's for sure.I'm not a fan of IPA's, there is plenty of flavor in a good ale without over hopping it.
My favorite at the moment.Did my daily walk a little while ago. Got pretty wet as it was raining and I stopped along the way to get the flavor of the day. It's got some bitterness with 80 IBU so definitely not a good choice for those that don't care for IPA's.
ABV: 7.0% IBU: 80
You have damn good taste. I've had Lucille as well. It's a damn fine IPA.My favorite at the moment.
This and Lucille from Georgetown.
unless i'm getting on a 6 month boat ride to India, i friggin hate IPAs.I'm not a fan of IPA's, there is plenty of flavor in a good ale without over hopping it.

I used to get a beer from Rogue Brewing called Brutal Bitter. That one was a little much for me but I still drank it. Last time I had it was at their brewpub in downtown Portland. It wasn't the same as it was from a decade before. It was toned down to appeal to a wider range of palates.
Widmer Hefe is a good wheat ale, hazy and chewy.watcha think of Widmer Hefes? one of the better american made hefes i think. i drank a boat load of them when i worked in Tualatin
