day 44 pics,i wasnt thrilled with day 43 caus i took a bunch and lots them all ,then took a few fast ones to replace the ones i lost

I really wonder what my yield will be about for my 5 girls

heyy man. nice looking plant you got!! I really want to order black jack for my next grow. I also wanna order some low ryders too. but idk.. black jack is really really temoting to buy.. =-/ I'm growin Nirvana's White Widow right now. She's doin AWESOME! she's only 18 days old, but shes pretty big... and bushy too. You can take a look at her if ya want. but im subscribing.. cant wait to see these plants once theyre done!! Keep up the good work!!

They are coming along nice!
I've started another run with them, in the hopes of avoiding the mg problem, but no such luck lol. At least they are going gangbuster.

They look great! That yield question always hits about this time, lol. Usually impatience too, for me anyway!:peace:

unity,i didnt even check the ph till about the second week of flowering.Now that i check it the nute water is low 6's,and im growing in soil. im new to this so all i can tell you is i had twisted new growth a bit in the early veg stages

I'm very surprised how well this is going for me being a first timer.It has been super easy actually.I think fox farm nutes and soil have something to do with it,just read the directions for feeding instructions and your golden.I do feel my goal of 2 oz per girl is unrealistic now that i have had some more exp and learned more.Seems small indicas like blackjack aren't going to give that much yield.The part of this grow that has me the most worried from no experience is the curing and drying.I've read a few methods but they different so much I have no clue what to do.If someone can tell me an easy way to cure and dry it would be appreciated.I need to know the specifics,how long in the air proof container,how long out of the container and for how many days.I really want my smoke to taste great and burn smooth,dont want to fuck it up at the very end

I dry mine at 60% humidity for 6-7 days. Then I put them in to jars (don't pack them and leave about 20% of space in each jar. Open the jars several times a day for 2 days and depending if they need it I pull them out of the jars again for a day into a brown paper bag. You can tell when they are ready for cure, they should not smell green/hay like at this point. As long as they smell green keep opening these jars up,and gently tumble the buds around in the jars. Once they are completely dry and jar-ed up you can decide how long you want to cure them, I would go at least 2 weeks ;)

BTW, mine came out to just under 2 oz. per plant, and that was without manageing them properly. So you might get suprised ;)

This entire grow has been done with humidity levels between 10-33% with 70% of the time being under 18%
This is one factor I wish I would of done better on.I tried,I bough a humidifier put it in the tent,and it basically did nothing.I'm guessing with my air being so dry here,that when i do harvest and dry that it will not take long at all,i'm thinking 3-4 days.I will stop watering them 3 days before harvest also.
I have heard of a few people who turn there lights out completely for like the last 3 days before harvest.Has anyone had first hand experience with this method??Its kinda like i had heard of people turning there lights out going into flowering for 36 hours and i did that and it worked out great.
I think im going to use the cardboard box and string method for drying.I'll put it in my closet i think.**what is the odor level like when drying??if its strong,then i have to harvest all at one time and dry in the tent where the carbon filter on the exhaust fan is.If its not too strong then i can chop whats ready and put in my closet to dry and let the bottom buds finish before chopping them,which is better to me,but i only get one shot at it,i either chop all or i hope for not much of an odor while drying and let the bottom buds finish while the tops dry in my closet.

also would like some advice on how much water in gallons should i use for each 3 gallon pot when i flush.Not looking forward to an hour or so in my bathroom doing this but its a must.

Having your humidity down low during flowering is best anyway. It makes the resin really come out. Humidity is needed durning veg though, the higher the better. :peace:
