He said "killing innocent civilians to make a political point is a little far fetched". I asked how, it happens in foreign countries all the time (american soldiers ordered to take innocent lives), showing that it's not too far fetched because it already happens on a daily basis. No strawman argument at all. Keep trying to act smart though.
i'm thinking you're not grasping the concept of "strawman".

Since you seem to be incompetent, why wouldn't our government use innocent lives to make a political point (gun control) when they do it all the time overseas?
And now we move on to the ad hominem attack portion of our program. How predictable.

jtprin... do you even live in the US??
Have you ever served anything but your self?
And
Are you a cop??

Answer the question. The basis of the argument wasn't an insult, it was just an add-on.
I'm sticking to the topic at hand. A rogue murderous cop and a corrupt incompetent police department. You're furiously attempting to turn this into an anti-O'Bama rant. And yes, it was an insult.

Whaaaaat, Dirt? I never heard about two women delivering newspapers getting shot at.

How did the cops mistake the women's blue Toyota Tacoma for Dorner's gray Nissan Titan? Why did they shoot first and ask questions later? Why did they unload dozens of rounds into the truck?

I'll take "Questions we will never hear the answers to" Alex.

Did anyone see on CNN yesterday where they ran a caption at the bottom stating that Dorner tried to get out the back door of the cabin and he was shoved back in? I saw it.

Also, sure we heard lots of gunshots, but there is no way to demonstrate that any came from Dorner. They could of ALL been going into the cabin.

I doubt that happened.
It would have taken some Balls to do that and the cops down there evedently left theirs in their wives purses that day...

serious questions here...

can someone please explain how the body was "burned beyond recognition" yet they were somehow able to find his ID in a perfectly identifiable condition?

also, judging from the god awful accuracy of their shots on that truck (30+ shots and 2 hits), why should those officers be allowed to carry weapons at all? whatever happened to "identify your target and know what's beyond it"? maybe we're safer from them than we thought. they obviously couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

the LAPD is a shitshow. dorner may be a murderer, but fuck if the media isn't going to notice the LAPD now. they turned him into a martyr and looked like fools doing it. bra-VO.

Wow.. can't believe this stayed mostly on topic even against some attempts to sidetrack it.

The ONLY way I agree with you is if the media is setting this up to make Dorner look guilty when he's not.
Interesting factoid: one of the first stories I saw about this whole thing was a mention of Dorner's list of targets, including (the anchor read and the graphic showed in floating bold text): Asians, Lesbians, and Hispanics.

It was only once I read his manifesto that I learned that Dorner wasn't racist - he was some sort of anti racist. I'm not turning this on the media here. Whatever the reasons, like America's love for shorthand, it is always hard to get a complete picture. The manifesto is worth a read, I thought - at least if you're the type that reads lots with ease. Was the guy nuts - sure. Did he make points - sure. Of course, as fucked up as the LAPD seems to be, I guess anyone could make points.

But then I don't really blame the LAPD either. I blame society. :?

Christopher Dorner manhunt: Two innocent women shot by LAPD officers had "no warning"

Law enforcement officers look over the scene of an officer involved shooting in Torrance, Calif., Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013. The shooting is believed to related to the manhunt for fired Los Angeles police officer, Christopher Dorner. / AP Photo/Chris Carlson

LOS ANGELES The two women who were mistakenly shot by LAPD officers searching for triple murder suspect Christopher Dorner Thursday said they had no warning beforehand, the victims' lawyer told CBS Los Angeles.

Police may be closing in on shooting spree suspect

Attorney Glen Jonas said Maggie Carranza, 47, and her mother, 71-year-old Emma Hernandez, were delivering Los Angeles Times newspapers around 5:15 a.m. in Torrance when the officers opened fire on their vehicle.
Jonas said, "There was no warning. There were no orders. No commands. Just gunshots."
A patrol unit was reportedly assigned to protect the home of a high-ranking LAPD officer during the manhunt for 33-year-old Dorner, who is believed to have killed a Riverside cop Thursday and an Irvine couple Sunday.

In a news conference, Police Chief Charlie Beck said the officers thought the women's royal blue Toyota Tacoma matched the description of Dorner's dark-colored Nissan pickup truck.
"Tragically, we believe this was a case of mistaken identity by the officers," said Beck.
Jonas finds that hard to believe.

"The vehicle is a different color. The license plate doesn't match. There's nothing there for you to start shooting people. And even if they had the person in question... Mr. Dorner...you still have to give them an opportunity to get out. You can't just start administering street justice," said Jonas.
Carranza suffered minor injuries to her hand from shattering glass.
Hernandez, who was shot in the back, is in ICU at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
KCAL9's Jeff Nguyen said she was listed in good condition.

Look at that truck. The whole city of cops went nuts. Not even the same color. Tell me again, jtprin, how this was just cops killing a cop killer? This was a clusterfuck of epic proportions, by the world's best trained police department. I think this is a taste of what's coming on a national level soon enough. We should ALL be very skeptical of this new radical attempt to take our high cap mags and rifles. The State of the Union address turned into a circle jerk for banning guns. I am afraid, you should ALL be very afraid.
And if the photo wasn't cropped so much you might also be able to see all the bullet holes in the white garage door that is on the house in the background. A case of incredible incompetence...... not mistaken ID.
