If the days are hot and you have cool water flowing through your water lines feeding your girls in a outdoor grow, they can see that using inferred technology. Or if your lines are buried they see the cool water dotting the garden where the water fed the plants.

based on my knowledge its just a bunch of BS, no plants give off some "special light spectrum" weed is a plant like anything else and there aren't any special properties about it other than the active chemical it produces.

As far as getting caught. I have heard that cops don't even bother when they find a plot of 10 or less plants, too much time to eradicate such a small amount, its the bigger fields they are going for. I grew about 6 plants outdoors and was REALLY careful about what I had on me whenever I visited my grow, the way you get caught is going to and from your spot with paraphernalia.

not sure about marijuana but I know that In Hawaii they use a similar method to find invasive non native plants. Using helicopters and photos they can tell where the invasive species are by the light reflected because it is different than the native plants around it. And I'm sure if they can do it with one type of plant they can probably do it with MJ.

It's true, marijuana not only has a very distinct color, which they look for, but has a tendency to remain green in the fall longer than other plants, thus the reason there are more busts on mature grows. also, and I know I am going to misspell this word, marijuana floresces and reflects differently than other plants and FLIRs ( forward looking infrared ) can be tuned to seek out this property.
