Whe nyou work from spores its ok to shake them, I prefer leaving it so the spores that germinate get to combat each other tight there at the source for dominace rather than have pieces of jar with diffirent genetics combat each other for resources and dominance later on. once they reach about the size of a large coin you can shake it up (but it will disturb your verm layer in the bottom), and then again every time tehen new patches grow out to that size, overall it doesn't seem to make a diffirence in how long it takes to eat the jar up.
Liquid cultres tend to take shakeing up worse than multispore injections.
This was a side by side check for shakeing VS no shakeing, all the jars finished at the same time.
The straight jars are made by Consol.

liquid cultures are cultures of mycelium grown in jars with a sugary liquid inside, this is then shook up with some pieces of glass that was put in the jar before the time to cut up the mycelium and make it possible to suck it up with a syringe and inject it into other jars. This is normaly done to clone a fruit, or when multiplying the amount of clean material you got through agar plate transfers.

Lol , puleeze people, I only share the knowledge about the good stuff in the abcence of someone else doing it.
Kinda like in the land of the blind the guy with one eye is king thing... there are people I learn from every day still out there.
Just about anything you see tekwize on the net in the usual spots are improved on daily.
