Why is everyone so bummed with a president that does his job, can actually talk about an issue, pose original thoughts, comprehend them, and articulate their merits verbally with a a little bit of swagger? Is it really soo threatening?

Congrats on that. If you are in california that means you are income based and already qualified for little or no cost healthcare without Obama or anything he "accomplished" in that regard.

The problem is when said employee is essentially forced to accept said job for said wage. You would argue with me on the word "forced" I'm sure, as nobody is physically forced to take any job for any wage. People take what they can get. I would then argue with you that in order to survive in [our] economy, people have to take said job for said wage. The lower the better for the employer. That's where the differences in opinion come in. That's why the issue is so complicated, because we have fundamental differences of opinion when it comes to these questions. There is really no point in arguing either way, nobody is going to change anyones mind..

But like I asked kynes earlier, if you could get away with charging an employee $.10/hour, would you? Be honest..

Why not focus on why so many low wage jobs to begin with? We are trying to compete with countries where people get paid a few dollars a day, which we can't do here because a person in the US has a higher cost of living. Level the playing field.

I am not against a minimum wage, because I don't by into the crap republicans love to spew about it. Places like Costco show their theory to not be the same as reality. Some blame as well needs to go to the US consumer and their love of cheap garbage.
