I was a liberal for a time and might be again, politics is not that extreme in Canada, the stakes are not literally life and death like in America right now.

Is that why all the headlines are wondering where Biden's been this pandemic? From the Hill to the New York Times. Trump is out there lying and saying everything is fine, Sanders is raising money for victims, Biden is trying to figure out how live streams work, confusing an audio call with live video in the few times he's been seen since the outbreak. That doesn't exude leadership. He's going to lose in November, and you're going to blame posts like this and people like me in December. You don't get to say we didn't warn you.

When Joe came out of nowhere with NO MONEY and NO GROUND GAME before super tuesday and swept the field, Bernie knew he as on the ropes, he respected that victory because it was from the ground up, nobody bought it. All the moderates got behind Joe then, even daddy war bucks Bloomberg, he saw the writing on the wall too.

I don't pretend Sanders has any path to the nomination at this point, but I do think the contrast in response from each camp is interesting. Trump is out there denying the severity of COVID-19, Sanders is raising money for victims and demanding a freeze in rent/mortgage payments, utility bills, student debt payments, etc., Biden is missing in action. Since he's become the front runner, his campaign has chosen to put him behind closed doors because every time he's in public, he can't help but make mistakes. That's not leadership. He's throwing away a political opportunity and handing Trump a victory, even though the Republican response is nothing short of a catastrophe.

Quit listening to liars trying to convince you of what Biden is 'up to' and just go to his website or watch his actual videos in their entirety for yourself, looking for soundbites is a bullshit way to get information.

Biden's #1 priority is to not get sick. 2nd is to design a pathway to campaign from here to the fall. It is not to fuck around like Trump.

Joe is staying out of the way as much as he can, this is no time for politics, Bernie is in the senate and doing his job, Joe is not in government yet.
When your enemy is digging his own grave, get out of his way, Trump hit rock bottom and is swinging the pick furiously, there's not much Joe can do. Now is not the time to antagonise Donald bigly over this shit, Nancey knows the best time for oversight and holding him accountable, then the shit will hit the fan. Donald will refuse to provide documents and order witnesses to not appear, it will be the end of him if he tries that crap over this one, this is where the rubber meets the road.

Back to the subject, what are you seeing in Nova Scotia? We just tried to order some Buckley’s Cold and Sinus off the net, and cannot find it anywhere. We are well prepared here, just looking at the long haul. We are always prepared though, didn’t do much out of the ordinary for groceries, etc. Prepared to plant a few acres in garden if need be. I know others are going to need it. Studying up on herbal meds, China’s numbers included 80% of the cases were treated with herbal medication along with whatever else was available. We even smudge the house with sage and bay leaves now.

I never realised this until a couple days ago but my grandmother survived the 1918 pandemic and lived in such fear of pandemic after that she kept these habits until the end of her life. Smudging the house, keeping a mint in the mouth when outside, warm drink when you come in, always jacket and hat in the spring, good soup for lunch, gargle with salt, etc. Everybody thought she was nuts of course. Until now.

I know lots of front line workers (I’m on standby) and the virus is definitely here and spreading.

I would suggest you watch some of the vitamin D videos I posted and do additional research, sunshine is the best source and it's free soon, for now supplement to whatever level you feel is safe, check expert medical opinion, don't be deficient in vitamin D if you get this bug and deficency is widespread in Canada this time of year.

Cases are climbing in NS, we were the last province to declare an emergency but most people have been observing social distancing and hand washing for a couple of weeks, me longer, it will have a peek impact in a couple of weeks. We need more testing and we will get it, testing is being ramped up as we speak, though personal distancing is what works, testing or not.

Most people will get this eventually or be vaccinated and many vulnerable who are self isolating will be much safer in public in a month and even more than that in two months of hunkering down and personal distance. We have to keep the rate of infections below the hospitalisation capacity, that's the name of the game. Testing will allow us to minimise the impact on the economy and let us to get back up and running quickly and safely.

We expect that our vitamin d is good, lots of milk and coconut oil used around here. If you put raw coconut oil on your skin your body will absorb the right amount of vitamin d and block any excess.

It’s good to hear the social distancing is being respected there. I know a few idiots that won’t listen here. I’m one of the people that cannot allow this through the house, if possible. I’m eating a lot of honey oil and hash these days, I have had people coughing on me all winter and no cold yet. The feeling of a gram of honey all over your throat is just a wonderful thing.

The weather network had some prediction maps about what this could look like in July. Our area is very hot and humid, which is good, however areas which are dryer and high elevation were not so good.

This news clip of the covid party is right up there with licking toilet seats.
