So calling the appliance store and having it delivered, and those POS delivery boy types will take the old one to the curb for you for an extra $25 , is just beyond your ability until the pandemic is over?

It could be a faulty thermostat, a failing heating element or faulty wiring. Any of those have the potential of causing an electrical short and starting a fire.

It's a hazard you are ignoring because you are an idiot slumlord.

It's even worse if it's a gas oven. It could be a faulty pressure regulator that could fail and blow the whole damn building sky high.

Steals deposits for a living.

We have one like that around here, she'd swipe the deposit and charge for carpet cleaning twice. I made the mistake of doing some work for her when I was in my early twenties. I cleaned up and took everything to the dump from of a rental she managed. When I tried to get paid she claimed she'd have to get a check from the owner, needless to say I never saw a check. She actually tried to contact me last summer, must have forgotten about burning me, lol. Anyway, short story long, I live in a very rural area, and dragging someone's name through the mud is worth more to me than a few hundred dollars.

If he were half the "landlord" he claims to be, he'd have a commercial account at Home Depot, Lowe's or something of that nature. Mine is with Home Depot. They'll deliver, install and haul away the old one on a purchase of 400 dollars or more.

No, I don't buy top of the line 2,500 dollar stoves. But I have no problem spending 450 dollars for a decent GE or Whirlpool to put in knowing it'll last a good while and be a safe, well performing stove and the delivery, installation and removal of old is all inclusive.

Lol, so delivery boy can hurl insults but I call her what she is and you got a problem with that? No, everybody working together makes the world go round, without her paycheck she stays home and does squat. Problem is, you people just have too much hate in you, and many are full of shit. Like the guy above saying order a new stove. They are not even working here. End of day I am housing people and treating them right, and you lot piss on the net.

Problem isn’t the money, problem is risking my guys to work on something that isn’t an emergency. Her oven will either be fixed or replaced in about two weeks time. You guys just don’t read very well and I swear to God there’s nothing in this thread that I had said that would indicate that I treat my residence with anything but dignity and respect the fact I do so much more for them than any of you guys will ever do in your life.
