If he were half the "landlord" he claims to be, he'd have a commercial account at Home Depot, Lowe's or something of that nature. Mine is with Home Depot. They'll deliver, install and haul away the old one on a purchase of 400 dollars or more.

No, I don't buy top of the line 2,500 dollar stoves. But I have no problem spending 450 dollars for a decent GE or Whirlpool to put in knowing it'll last a good while and be a safe, well performing stove and the delivery, installation and removal of old is all inclusive.
i know that when we had the cabin rentals we always had a spare fridge/stove on hand but hey we weren’t a big rental management company. Just had a washing machine delivered to the rental a day after it started leaking. this thread has more holes than Texas has wells lol

Problem isn’t the money, problem is risking my guys to work on something that isn’t an emergency. Her oven will either be fixed or replaced in about two weeks time. You guys just don’t read very well and I swear to God there’s nothing in this thread that I had said that would indicate that I treat my residence with anything but dignity and respect the fact I do so much more for them than any of you guys will ever do in your life.
Two weeks without a stove is treating your renters well
Is this Jared Kushner slum Landlord extraordinaire ?

So you're gonna wait 2 weeks when this pandemic is over and everything goes back to normal, then send your guys in to fix it.

Lol, this'll be gone in 2 weeks for sure.

Yes, going to wait till the stay at home order is order before we go into units for no-emergency calls, as is everybody in the business. If she didn’t have a different method of cooking we would go in now so that was the first thing we made sure if, that she could cook. She may not be able to bake a cake, but she won’t be starving. One of my customers who we manage a 16 unit for has already had one resident die fro corona, my guys would quit if we made them go in for anything other than emergencies.

Calling them loser drug dealers that don’t need the government assistance because you see how much they make.

I’m not sure of the EXACT definition of dignity but I’m pretty sure that ain’t it.

Lol, totally reasonable response. It's dedication and service like that that everyone looks for in a landlord.

Did he/she pay April's rent? The suspense is killing me.
Wanna know what’s sad, law says that the family has 14 days to move his stuff out before the rental assistance is removed and the unit goes up to full price. I’m assuming that his rent was paid in full. Not one we manage, next state over, just a friend’s place.

He expected us to side with him getting government subsidies while putting down others for the same.

His payments are waived for months but they better pay

My last words on the matter:

They couldn't possibly be any worse than you. If I knew who you were, I'd report you with this thread in its entirety to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

You would immediately be barred from leasing to anybody at all, be arrested and in all likelihood sued for all subsidies you have ever received.

They would bury you.

So keep flapping your gums, slumlord. Just pray I never find out who you are.

Lol, dare you to find where you think I said that. Problem with a lot of you is you read what somebody else says and just carry on with assumptions. I think it’s horrible the way this is going down. The poor are going to be much worse off when it’s all said and done. Reason we need to get trump out. I also believe I need to be taxed more, but I only pay what they ask me to.

It's my only thing...people call me a truth talker. I get flak for it sometimes.
