The dirty hillbilly in new mexico killed anywhere from 30-80 women...he does not deserve to live on tax payers dime...can you cite the case when someone was killed for marijuana by the federal gov? why not kill him? because he is incarcerated and I am not.

Nobody "deserves" to live on money redistributed by government, so I think we sort of agree there. I suggest that you stop paying to support him. I don't support killing people in foreign counties that have never harmed me either so I try not to fund that . I don't know of anybody executed for pot, but the fact that "they" could is disconcerting.

I think you might find killing somebody is harder than you think....but I could be wrong. Either way, we agree that his acts make him undesireable and we'd rather he wasn't around. Who has the moral authority to take life is an interesting question...

I will take it a step further ..I don't support our even being in foreign countries.. I don't think I would have a problem pushing the plunger on hundreds of this countries most despicable humans who have done countless heinous acts to children and women before they were eventually caught..I doubt I am alone.

Well glad we agree that nationalistic aggression ain't so good. Would you "push the plunger" on those who support killing women and children abroad?

I am not volunteering for the job..but I support it and if had to..would not be too difficult in some cases...Would I like to see Bush/Cheyney in prison and tried for war crimes? yes.

What about other politicians that "vote" to kill people? What about the people who carry out orders and kill people becuse they are "just doing their job" ? Gets a little complicated this killing people stuff eh?

Nearly every single politician in this country and lobbyist should be hung for treason
Politics is a game of trading the gun back and forth to make others do what you want them to do or you will get men to hurt them if they do not comply. If you haven't already, check out the non aggression principle. It is a good philosophy to try to live by. Peace.

Instead of getting 25 to life, felons should be forced to serve at least 4 years in the military. That would be the best solution imo.

What about "pot felons" or other felons that have never harmed anyone? Should they be forced to serve in the military?

Politics is a dirty game of greed and corruption..selling out your country for money and personal gain...at the costs of american or foreign life..not sure how Bush/Cheyney can sleep at night knowing how many people they are responsible for killing or maiming for oil and cash.

Nobody should be in prison for pot...if the guy got 25-life for rape/murder..then no...if he got 25 to life for 10 bricks of coke..yes..each case is different.

I disagree. The military has enough trouble attracting quality recruits. There is no goodness in requiring the military to pick up that slack.

Also, a military-style organization would only be for the able-bodied who can accept direction. Many convicts would not qualify, and then you have the difficulties inherent in any tiered system. cn

not to mention...some people do not like taking orders and have problems with so called "authority" myself included.

Yes but the fact that it is a steady paycheck with the possibility to gain rank and have authority yourself is appealing to alot of inmates. Trust me.. I talk to alot of them. Some of them say shit like "naw nigga, fuck the army.. I aint gonna kill no iraqis. they aint did shit to me." but most of them would like the opportunity to serve their country and kick ass with guns and shit rather than use toilet water to shower.

Violent sex offenders should not get a chance to repeat. Waivers for young punks to join the military are good for society though, if some officer sees potential in a recruit, by all means...

Sex offenders no.. Im talkin about for like young kids with 10 year plus sentences for usually petty crimes. They should be given the option to go to the army or something.
