Centennial seeds from boulder

with pre-soak, 13 of 13 Roughnecks and 11 of 14 '21' popped within 24hrs, the other 3 '21' are still closed after 48hrs.

at what height (how many weeks?) did you start to flower the '21'? I have a 14' ceiling, but can only raise the lights to @12.5'. table height will give me a little more room though.

these are small girls, working up larger veggies now for the new lights/tables coming next month.

probably they were somewhere between 3-4 feet. They were seeds, sexed, reveged, then got stuck for a bit waiting for a spot to move forward into flower.

I had to chain one down in the pot so it didn't tip over. Next time I'll veg them a bit smaller

I'm not a big fan of this breeder.
Don't really care that there from the state I live in.
I have looked at there site and it's beans are nothing special.
I have also been to a few med centers that sell there seeds and had some of there clones crappy looking. They want flat out just and to much for there beans for being a total unknown. if your starting out you really have to make a shot at the market breed and sell strains that are going to fire sale then it make's a demand for it its self then you can charge the cash for them. Give us Colorado natives something to brag about

I actually am a fan of this breeder.
I care that they sell in Colorado because I don't have to risk everything and violate federal import laws to get seeds.
I have looked at the site, and have actually grown their gear. Some actually are something special.

You would probably be the best fire sale breeder ever. We would like to brag about your beans. Let us know when the awesome has arrived...

I don't know the breeder, but I'm happy with the beans and grow so far. as for price, it's not out of line with other seed lines ($50-$300 for others, @$90 for Cent seeds ... seems reasonable to me). besides, it's not like they can sell to other states/countries (they aren't Altitude), their market is stuck in Colorado for the time being, and running a business on a fire sale quickly puts you OUT of business. you get what you pay for right away and don't worry about 'will they make it' .... 'what will they be'....

on week 4 of my Cent seed grow and so far 1/3 of both strains are showing pre-sex females

If you have any info on a recamended strian by them pleave great pot god name it. by the way when I said give us something to be proud of I meant Centennial not me. o and do you drive to pick up Centennial beans or get them mailed if you get them or the place you get them from got them mailed in state or international either way risk everything and violate federal laws to get seeds.

PS when I said Centennial need to breed a strain that fire sales I meant develop a strain that everyone wants IE og kush sour kush and so on. Then if they sold all the beans and did not keep the strain alive thats there own fault.

mine were delivered by hand I have 4 seperate new seed/strain grows going now and just hoping for a couple keeper moms. but I hear ya, and they are a young company, yet to reach potential. I'll give several of their strains a try and reserve any judgements for after the girls are done .... the end product and chosen pheno from one grower to another is different. unfortunately, I still haven't really tried any, lol.

I have 10+ of the Waipi O'hapa currently that just popped. I am ok with trying something new, and just because its not the old school blends like og kush and what not doesnt mean its necessarily bad. I will start a journal of the Waipi O'hapas and we will see just how special they are. Personally, I cant wait.

the '21' (indica dom) is outgrowing the Roughneck (sativa dom) currently @ week 7 from seed. the 21 is very interesting and I can't wait to clone and flower them. 2 of them grew the tallest and fastest, pre-sexed the earliest and have some unique leaf characteristics (13 leaflets?? extra petiole/leaflets growing from where the original leaflet-petiole joint is .....)




I need to download the new pics from yesterday, the new top set of leaves is doing the same thing with double leaflets out of the joint. cloning them all today for the first test batch to flower out. the 21's had a good female-male ratio, the Roughnecks not so much from what I can tell .... but they are a little harder to pre-sex at this time it seems too.

I cant wait for the waipi ohapas then!!! those are bad ass!! any info you can give me soco on nute sensitivities, and other strain info on that? My partner just handed me the seeds and said get to it.

so outta the 12 pack of seeds that was actually a 13 pack, I got 10 to sprout, and now im down to 3 that are undecided as far as male/female. the others were boys. so thats what I have to say about that. soon as i see one thats female ill clone it and put it to flower. I kinda wanna know how Centennial Seeds breeds. Does anyone know if they back-cross or do anything like big seed companies and stabilize a strain?

my take on what I've tested so far. the '21' - 2 phenos, 1 stretches hard, 3 put into flowering and 2 popped nanners, clones easily, great smell and frosty. Roughneck - heavy male ratio, 1 put into flowering and she went full blown hermie - nanners and ball sacks.

disclaimer - I found we had a light leak issue over those tables. never thought about it, but we have an industrial gas heater ceiling mounted and when it kicks on it gives off a little light. so I can understand the nanners. but full blown hermie isn't a good sign for one of the parents used in breeding (guessing the Jamaican since the Rhino should be IBL).

One Waipi O Hapa that I am observing flower now has great long Kola structure and looks beautiful except for the fact that it is lacking resin in a major way. Other strains next to it like Agent Orange and Sour D have tons of resin in week 4 and Waipi's have 0. Time will tell.....maybe they will surprise me.

I have been growing Centennial Blueberry for the last couple months. All seeds germinated quickly and plants vegged very well and liked to be topped. The problem for me, and others I see, is the strain is very unstable. All my blueberry females turned hermie on me at some point in the flowering phase between weeks 3 and 7. I have been growing for over a year now and this never happened to me with any other strain. As the matter of fact, my very first plant was a DJ short blueberry that was one of the best plants I've ever had under the same exact conditions. I have no light leaks, but was able to carry a couple girls further into flowering by keeping nighttime temps up in the high 60's low 70's. My last Centennial Blueberry was seven weeks in and had at least 2 oz on it, then it turned hermi on me the last week started popping bananas by the hundreds and basically made trimming a nightmare. I tried two times to email Centennial Seeds and received no reply whatsoever. This means to me that they really don't care about their customers. I am now telling everyone I can not to buy their seeds. It has been a huge waste of my time and resources to take these plants from seed to seedling to vegging plant to flowering plant only to have them turn hermaphrodite. As I said before, I have never had this problem with hermies until I used Centennial's seeds. If anyone has any other info or comments about this, I'd love to hear them.

My MMC has these seeds and have for a long time. Ive been thinking of getting Roughneck but hadnt heard anything about Centennial seeds. DAMN YOU CROP why werent you on RIU earlier lol. I have a bit of a seed collection fetish so i guess ill just have to add Roughneck to my list,
