So I just started a 400mh/hps watt 3 plant scrog grow in a closet and I keep second guessing my soil composition as I cant come across ANYONE that's done it to show me its ok.

I've had great success with automatics in 60/40 ffof/mg perlite- But now I've switched to Kandahar, a high yield strain.

I adjusted my mix after reading the coco craze in this very thread, so that now I have 3, 3 gallon buckets with 60% fox farm ocean forest, 40% CocoTek Coco brick.

I'm going to treat it like soil until it acts like its hurting, but if anyone could give me a heads up on what to watch for or if this is a normal stable mix, that've be helpful.

you shouldnt have many problems with that mix. sounds solid.
shit i would say as long as you dont get all jumpy and start over feeding you should be fine
just keep this in mind throughout the grow, LESS IS MORE
i was just using a half gal of mild nutrient mix every other day, DO NOT GO BY THE BOTTLE
but the first 2-3 weeks just use ph'd water
and early on let that mix completely dry out a few times so the roots go looking

Hey guys, new to the forum and completely new to the growing game, I'm growing in 100% Canna Coco and whilst I was shopping a guy recommended I get Canna Mono Nutes, Calcium and Magnesium.

My plants are seedlings atm (shells just fallen off) and I was wondering when these should come in to play, is it to combat deficiencies or should I be adding them to my feed to prevent them?

Also, when should I be feeding in Canna Coco, should I be feeding in small quantities as soon as their 'true' leaves come through?

Help a newbie out!?

How often do you guys need to water when running straight Coco Coir? And how would it work transplanting from a small Soil teen into a 3 gal Airpot with Coco?

Hi everyone. I`m new here and to indoor growing. I was given a 52L pot and a bag of some kind of coco. Do I have to put and holes in the bottom of the pot for water to drain or do I just leave it as is???
What options do I have with this? I actually was given 2 pots of the same size but 1 has a single hole drilled close to the bottom and has a attachment comming out. I think it was to run to waste the person said.
I would like to put 1 or both to good use but unsure of what to do and how to go about it. I cant run it to waste as I cant run a hose outside.

Any and all ideas/suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Cheers.

Subbed. Just started my first run with Coco. Had some problems within the first week of transplant but they're picking up now.

I've been handwatering but have been looking into setting up a drip to waste system. Anyone have any recs for DTW systems? Are blumats the way to go?
