It's funny you bring this up. I was toying around with the name "Corn COB" and thinking, what would the light look like for that name?

If this will grow plants as good as other LEDs I'd be sold....

Light is light, PAR is PAR.

All about the cooling and the reflector. But, it is a straight drop in replacement and the same color as my 250w CFL and certainly twice as efficient, at least, at any temperature.

And after 1 year, the replacement for CFL is $100 so the Corn cob will pay for itself.
 
It's $149 you can buy a few Vero's and make a better light

You could buy a single vero 29 and drive it at 2.1 amp and get the same amount of light for about the same price depending on the heatsink.

For the price I think it would be better to just buy rigid SMD LED strips. Then you don't have to deal with reflector losses. You can buy a lot of 5630's for the same money.
