Critical kush mainlined

i'd say you absolutely have the sativa dom as mine only stretched 6-8 inches. Looks really good. Hope they slow down soon for u :)

Thanks LGC, have you read any smoke and yield reports for the different phenos. Seems like that kind of info is hard to find and people either love or hate CK, I'm not sure if it depends on the pheno or what.

After day 14 she's stretched 30 inches and despite super cropping 2 places on each main she grew another 2 inches yesterday. You can hardly see where I even did it except for a slight discoloring and I pinched her twice at each spot till she crunched. I super cropped another spot on each main tonight so we'll see if it helps. She's looking good and I upped her lights to 13.5/10.5, I'm still holding out hope she'll slow down so I can keep her in this cabinet.

I've never heard of mainlining before and it seems that I run into a pro at it by running into this thread. Awesome work... I wonder though.... looks like you were pretty aggressive early on with the stripping and topping - in being that aggressive did the plant stall or slow down in growth for a long while?

Well... from your pics a guy would never know you're a rookie mainliner...lol And thanks for the link! I'll be watching...subbed...

After 16 days it looks like the stretch might be over, only 2 inches of chain left before I would have to change things to get the last couple inches out of this cabinet.

Just stumbled onto your journal and read the whole thing, she's looking really good :)
I'm gonna try mainlining with my next grow so subbing to watch the show :bigjoint:

Buds are filling out FAST. EXCELLENT job here dude. Saw you on Rrog's thread, so this is Living Soil yeah? Well impressed with this grow. You must be super happy.

Here's one of the clones from the first cut of her mainlining process at day 3 of 12/12.

I'm supercropping early with this one, cropped 6 of 8 mains today.

Looks great. During my short period of growing, I've grown indica-dominant strains, but now I have some "Original Amnesia" that is my first sativa-dom strain. I'm finding sativa very frustrating as it's a stretchy plant.....I have stretch going on in every direction on 2 of my 3 plants. The third is my attempt to do "Uncle Ben's topping technique" which somewhat resembles mainlining.

While I don't have the eight colas I anticipated, my UB's is much more uniform in growing vs. what I call "Pot on acid" growth of my other two sativas.

Looking at your plant has made me decide to main-line my Royal Haze sativa-dom plant that's now in seedling. You've inspired me not to hate growing sativa as much as I do now. My problem up to now is that I'm trying to grow sativa like it's indica, and it's not growing anywhere the way I expected based on my indica growing experiences.

I agree that clones don't lend themselves to mainlining due to the staggered nodes vs. the nodes of plants from seed.

Keep up the good work, it looks like you'll have an amazing plant when you're done.
