  • Here are my ROLS, will not true ROLS as I used them immediately after harvest by transplanting established clones from my solo cups.

They had gone through some nitrogen deficiency issues after a few weeks in their new pots that I introduced my first protozoa and nematode tea too. Anywise I addressed with organic amendments of alfalfa and crab meal, in additional to top dressing with Oly Fish Compost and adding Oyster Shell Flour to possible needed calcium shortage that could affect available nitrogen.

Well it has been a few weeks since facing that issue and these four gals have been mainlined trained since established with 3 new branch nodes from clones and I recently gave them some new tea which was very fishy smelling.

For I brewed Oly Fish Compost with Eco Fish Hydrolisate and BSM. Diluted with water 1:1 and watered.

And Got This Brew..... which smelled like fish stew! But not foul rotten egg or alcohol or vinegar smell
The white ring is residue from making bokashi bran. So that is Bacillus bacteria which is good stuff.

And these are what my babies look like... days after sipping from the brew
These are ready to go on to flowering I have little white roots sticking out
    off their bottoms.

More Pics to come of lovely ladies that are currently flowering in PHOGS.

I got a 2x3 area, scrog 2-3 plants, and get ~100g cured bud/plant
Impressive... that's like 10 oz between 3 plants.

Any pics?

I'll be happy to gleam 1oz each plant granted average plant 6 branches 8 inches tall. Once I master main lining and can develop 16 equal branches per plant then production should increase too.

Impressive...
Not bad. keeps me in smoke.
No pics, but no real secret to grow. 3-gal smart pots, 400W HPS. 2-4 plants, 4-way LST method, scrog.
Yield numbers are very subjective, but a common metric for indoor grows is g/Watt. A good goal is 1 g/W. One poster said 'look to get 0.5 g/W, be happy, and look to improve'. Depending upon the number of plants I am growing, I have got ~0.6-0/9 g/W. I view this as 'average' performance.

Hi Ginger,

Immediately because my grow is perpetual. The ladies currently in PHOGS were clones taken during the process. These clones were taken from the set of ladies that were going through their "veg\training", whereas these in veg came from a clone set in flowering in PHOGS. So currently I have four ladies you see about to be harvested, behind them are clones that were taken while the ladies in flower where in their 6 week of vegging. This allowed 2 weeks for clones to establish themselves before they start their 8 week "veg\training". So I pretty much have 12 plants in a three stage cycle that allows me to flower 4 plants every 8 weeks in this grow space.

Right now I am starting my harvest on these ladies. I will will take main cola tops of each plant leaving the lower side branches to continue till Thursday Jan 30th official 8 weeks 56 days.
This strain under these LED lights in this system flower well quickly. As I as everything looks a go to begin harvesting. Lovin' it !

So here is a quick peak for the moment to see the cycle.

4 Ladies Vegging while Main Line Training. These are ready to go into PHOGS after 8 weeks of veg\main line training.

These pics of clones from a few weeks back, they are bigger now no current pics sorry. But they are starting their 8 week veg\main line training.
They will be going into the Veg space where the gals above are vacating to PHOGS. I will try to update with current pics.

When I move the vegging ladies to PHOGS and go to Lollipop to simulate and ensure energy directed to tops. I will be able now not have to discard these lower cuttings into ROLS or compost for I have now know a dispensary grower whose clients love the samples from previous clones I gave them. Now I have place to offload those for the cause! I am happy just to know others will get to enjoy the medical benefits I have from this great strain.

Been busy got me a new cloning cabinet going right now. Now I have more space to germinate or clone I will need to move forward to increase foot print of veg which is a 2x2 and flower 2x3 to larger area of space. That will take longer so I will continue to provide clones for dispensary\medical grower until I can provide space that will accommodate the amount of medicinal plants that can be grown under the medical law. Anywise I have yet to even come close to the max allowed and with the current space limitations I have had to do all I can within reason and keep cost low to barely cover basic herbal medical needs, no where close to producing what is needed yet for concentrates that would provide longer better relief of medical symptoms.

Nonetheless observe for yourself. I picked the best the cuts, most cuts salvages of lower branches where pruning needed to occur. So not all prime thick healthy leaf sets. From my 32 Peat Pellets soaked in Aloe, liquid kelp and sea weed with fulvic acid in a 1 gal h20 sans chlorine solution for 8 hours. Cuttings ready for transplant far left G13xAk47, middle (mix not used in this setup) right (Blue Cheese)
20140125_235124.jpg20140126_111405.jpg

For the first 21 clones (Blue Cheese) from the right side, those cuts treated with Schultz Take Root and placed in treated peat pellets.
I had this laying around a few years old but kept cool dry place, we will see how it does.

For the next 6 clones (Blue Cheese) to the left of the first 21(Blue Cheese) these were treated with Aloe juice and a gel slice wrapped around stem inserted into pre-soaked peat pellets. (Picture below shows solo cup for an example) Note Aloe gel piece near planting hole.

20140126_121101.jpg

For the 5 clones stagger on left sided, these are the G13xAk47(no name yet) these treated same as the 6 above.

Here they are ready to root!
20140126_222456.jpg

So okay let the rooting begin. Temp cool 80 degrees Humidity 60 (outside dome) inside cabinet. 2x24 watt CFL? 6500K.

Hi Folks been busy harvesting this week, trimming, drying and now into curing. I will have some update of those pics soon.

However I did manage to remove the harvested ladies in their 1 gallon cloth containers in PHOGS and now have simply inserted their replacements that were in veg into their new abode to flower. I noticed I need to add some N possibly cal mag too new growth showing some discoloration in some new leaves.

Anywise here is a quick pic to show the new ladies getting ready for harvest in 55 days and counting...

Not sure what happened on the thread with the pics.

Hyro-mite is not being produced anymore that I know of. I am looking into an alternate medium such as Growstone.
There is another one I am testing side by side with hyro-mite, but I made need to add silica now cause if I go with Growstone which is recycled glass not sure how much available silica in that product.

Glad to have you on-board, let me know how your implementation goes...

Oh I hear a Dab calling me be back soon...

:mrgreen:Just a quick thought here Dank. I've used Red Lava Rock in buckets with great success. I also use them when mixing the soil. Would love some input and a separate test on it while you are looking. It produces excellent root growth. Love those photos.

He'll yeah dank.. good shit.

I use greensand and aloe for silica. Big beefy stems every time. What do you guys think silica does to your plants?

Good show STANKSHWAG!!! Like the new clone home and steamy porn, you would already know that if there was a like option. I think Mrs. Mad Hatter would like to meet my Mr. Big Batter :O I've been thinking about a fogger on a timer type deal for humidity control. That would make my recent clone woes better.

May, you already answered part of your own question ;)

Hey Guys thanks for posting I will comment later but for now...

These are the G13xAk47 clones I took from two seeds I grew out. Once confirmed I had mommies for these two you ladies I flowered the out.
They are small just around a foot long. Didn't expect much but a tasty nug or two to sample prior to growing their siblings to come.

Oh yeah my last Blue Cheese run was spectular best yield yet. The upgrade in LED watt draw is only factor changed in setup.
This batch of 4 I just posted on recently is in my ROLS of the fly containers. Anywise more to come busy busy busy.

Ah yeah another update these clones are now officially over 8 days soon I should see roots coming through peat pots. ALOE clones on left (11), powered Shultz on right (21)

As far as my vermi composting, my second bin doing great, first bin getting close to me using to top dress my flowering babes in PHOGS

Lot of progress - looks good!
Thanks Mr.Wood, would you believe me if I told you I was very pleasantly surprised at yield,:o let's just say impressed :hump:exceeded my earlier consistent yields in PHOGS by x2. Not to mention what I've been told the space I am using should produce. But then again my LED wattage nearly doubled as well from a 140watt draw with a "Grow" LED full spectrum which has a balance of blue red, and other light waves to a 280watt draw "Bloom" LED full spectrum with a focus on more red for flowering. So I can only image what could happen for my foot print (number of plants covered) verses the strongest one in the make available which would be a 540watt draw. If it increases yield again by another 2x it would certainly be worth it.

Anywise just busy keeping my clones moist hoping soon to see roots coming out I will need to prepare some mild potting soil into small solo cups to transfer to medical grower for dispensary. Hoping to perhaps gain some donation back from dispensary in some shatter which seems to work best for what ails me.

I am cooking some new soil to test out a recipe with rice hulls and oyster shell pieces, very small lava rock pieces just big enough to have the porous holes needed.
It is about halfway done and smelling like it is cooking away real nice. I will write more about my amendments and results as I use it. Just trying to have balance.

As much as I want to incorporate ROLS into my grow, until I get some serious vermi composting going on, I probably will need to cook some home made soil to pack a punch and layer it into bottom and place prior root\web structure from last harvested plants on top of the layered home brewed soil. For I don't mind making teas but not every other feeding so I want to ensure when roots from young transplants grow into soil they have something when they mature to feed on and won't suffer cause I am too lazy to brew. Remember for me PHOGS is all about plug and go play and enjoy life while plant feeds and waters itself. So ROLS is somewhat time consuming in more care needed to maximize soil web. Whereas PHOGS is about maximizing time I can be doing other things I enjoy too. So I will have to try to mitigate a balance in my approach to ROLS that honors my purpose for PHOGS.

Okay ya all promise some Cannabis photo porn soon, maybe even a little worm poo shots if your are lucky too!
